Guest guest
I had a conversation with a staff member at Dr. Bitters' office in Los Gatos this morning. During this conversation we discussed the fact that they recommend 5 photoderm treatments and she asked if I was planning on traveling to California for all five. I said I had planned on only the one trip and that I had hoped to get the protocols for the folks who have a photoderm machine in my town. She stated that the protocols were proprietary and that they are not given to anyone who has not been trained by their office. She said that I would sign some paperwork indicating this. She went on to state that each machine is calibrated differently and that settings used in one office may not work in another, that it could actually harm an individual, and that is why they don't give out 'numbers' over the phone. There have been a couple of posts recently wherein group members have stated that their dermatologists (non-trained) have received the Bitters' protocol by just calling their office. How do I put this politely ... who is being deceived here? The group members who think they have the Bitters' protocol or me by the Bitter's staff? After talking to her I also wonder if it is worth making the trip and then continuing on with folks who aren't familiar with their protocol. The office here said they have just treated folks once for rosacea not multiple times. Appreciate any thoughts on this matter ...
