sleep away camp in Georgia-Camp Barney Medintz

Hi Everyone,

My son Max, age 16, attends Camp Barney Medintz in North Georgia. This summer will be his fourth summer.

I grew up going to sleep away camp next door to this camp so I am very familiar with the camp and area. During first session

-in June, they offer a special needs camp for 2 or 4 weeks for kids who are ready for this kind of experience. The staff is

incredibly trained and dedicated. I am enclosing a description written by the assistant director. I am happy to discuss with

any one interested.

The boys cabins are completely full. Camp Barney Medintz holds an open house every November in S. Florida...so maybe this

is something to look forward to. There are several openings for girls.
