Hello to everyone,

I have not been an active member in the group since Aug 2009 but my life has

been a roller coaster. I have experienced a major flare up which included a 3

week stay in the hospital. While in the hospital friends from church entered my

apartment and packed everything and moved it to a storage facility. Since

November I have been unpacking and trying to put my life back together.

I was a single Dad but my 17 y/o daughter had to go live with her Mom. This is

the first time in 17 years we have not lived under the same roof. i have been

Mom and Dad all of her life and the adjustment has been hard for both of us. Her

Mom had gone to drastic lengths to buy her love. (new hybrid car, iPhone, etc.)

I am trying not to be bitter.

I am in the process of moving again. I will be sharing a house with a man from

church. He is just starting the nightmare of divorce. I told him he will never

experience anything like the damage of divorce but continue to share his love

for his kids. Not to try to buy there love but show them with quality time

together.

Over the past several months I have been reading the group posts and have

replied to several directly when it was something that I myself has experienced

or questioned.

I am doing good. I have had remove pride from my thoughts and begin using a

walker. Since my hospital stay I have had many weeks of physical

therapy.(Aquatic Therapy) I would encourage any and all to locate a facility in

your area. It has made a major difference in my life(balance issues, muscle

cramping and pain)

I saw my PCP yesterday. My vitamin D levels are very low and I taken 25,000 I.U.

a week for over a year. He has increased me to 50,000 I.U. a week and will

re-check in 6 weeks.

Life has slowed down considerably and I will be a more active member of the

group.
