Guest guest
Dearest Randy, I knew your pen or pencil wouldn't be silenced long. You have a real gift, you know. My writing is still pretty dark, but by February 10, I'll finally be posting something. That's Christy's birthday, so I will share something positive I've written about her life with the group. It will be the first time I've posted some of my work in the group. I'm glad you wrote again, but like I said, write for you!! Love and Light, Carole P.S. That story about the dog shooting his owner was incredible! > > Perceptions > > > > The sun fades into the horizon. > The few remaining rays > poke at the heavens > like glistening shards > of broken glass. > Birds start to settle > into their treetop sanctuary, > preparing for slumber > with earthworm abundant dreams. > The flowers close their petals, > bidding farewell to the bees and butterflies. > " Hope you got your fill " . > > A faint voice, > a faint memory > tries to tell me > that this is a beautiful > snapshot moment; > Some of the forever memories > of life and of love. > What are these things? > So, here I stand > with my tattered white flag > trying day after day > to surrender to any terms. > But life takes no prisoners, > and already, > tomorrow is poised, > ready to pounce... > > > > > Randy > > > --------------------------------- > Never miss a thing.
