Guest guest
Dear Randy, Definitely agree, beautifully said by Sherry! This is definitely something to think about. A dog " accidentally " shooting a man whom hunts all day, yikes! I am not a person whom likes hunting of defenseless animals or birds for sure and as you said perhaps it was the karmic law/cause and effect. We never can be sure but it does seem very valid indeed. And your friend's garage, after numerous squirrels are hurt or killed for being hungry, perhaps again there was a very good reason for that. Actually, I must say in my opinion, very necessary perhaps for the person to learn a lesson about harming another being? Thank you for this thought provoking post, it is one that will make a good conversation for all here and also something I am curious to know of what my friends/family here in MA will share with me about this topic. In Houston Tx, a man was hunting and had put his shotgun in the back of his truck. I do not know every detail but his dog jumped in and the gun went off. I will stay cautious and rely upon the word " perhaps " as to not carve any certain notion into stone. > Perhaps, all the little birds he shot, that day or over a course of time (nature) decided that the universal law of cause and effect/what goes around comes around into motion. basicly, nature saught payback as it always has and always does. Our actions, when motivated at destruction, killing, any negetive karmic scenerio will always litarally come back and bite us in the butt. > Another example is a friend of mine who hates life and spends his day cursing the singing birds because of their " screaching noises " . He has declared war on squirrels because they eat his tomatoes and figs. I said to simply put up a mesh fence or something but he refused. Instead, he spends his days sitting in the yard killing squirrels with a pellet gun. Not too long ago, he smelled smoke and opening the door, he discovered that his garage and the car in it was engulfed in fire. It all burned up. The fire inverstigators determined that squirrels had chewed through a wire and was the cause. Karmic payback? perhaps. A squirrel is a little fuzzytailed creature, but kill enough of them and there is one big energy looking you right in the face. I warned him that if he continued this killing, his house may be next. All I got was him knocking on a piece of wood and saying " don't jinx me " . lol There is no such thing as a jinx or an accident. Everything happens because it was > meant to, wether it is good or bad, these creations/destructions happen and because we are boxed in our human bodies and internal mind, we very seldom actually see why something happened. Sometimes it takes years before the answer comes and by then, we forgot about it anyway. Sometimes it is right in front of us yet we do not see. > So, this would spiral down to a simple lesson; throw breadcrumbs at nature, not rocks. > > > > Compassion to All, > Randy > > > --------------------------------- > Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile.
