Guest guest
Anyone used/using Almay's Amazing Lasting Makeup? I'm patch testing it for a few days at the moment. I'll comment more on coverage, finish, tolerability, etc, when and as I can, though as far as tolerability goes, I am not a good example as there are very few products I tolerate and my sensitivity seems to be more extreme than the average rosacea sufferer. I'm crossing my fingers! Also, has anyone used or is using Prescriptive's Custom Blend. I heard about this recently. Apparently it is available at Selfridges in Oxford Street, London (I don't know about outside the UK) and it is a foundation that is matched to your particular skin colouring and made up in front of you. They can make it so that it gives you just the right amount of coverage. If your skin is oily they can add an oil control ingredient; if it is dry, you can ask for extra moisture to be put in. They will also make up concealer in the same colour, if required. The whole colour matching service and the foundation costs £40. The person who told me about it said although it is pricey, she hasn't found anything else that gives such good coverage. The Custom Blend service is best booked in advance as the whole thing takes about an hour. Hazel
