I think we all go through spells where we don't feel up to responding to all of the mail. I am just glad that you introduced yourself now! I am sad that you have been diagnosed with this illness at such a young age. My son oldest son will be 15 next month and I know that just being a teenager is hard enough, let alone having to deal with being sick on top of it all! Guest guest Posted January 25, 2004 Report Share Posted January 25, 2004 lisa i have not had chemo and no hysterectomy. yes i read about you having cancer. i was so sorry to hear that. i had a fibo tumor years ago i hurt and bleed, yeast infection mostly every month. i kept putting off the surgery cause my children was too small to take care of themselves. i notice i was not hurting so when i went to have a pap test years later the doctor told me the tumor had turned to dusk and would come out in my unire. there was no need for me to have a hysterectomy. i have no hot flash. my doctor told me not having hot flash had something to do with lupus. i am 53 and every so many months i have a period some months it for 1 day to 7 days. bless you sonny Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You need to feel free to just read the posts and add what you would like, when you want to. I can't even imagine getting the diagnosis of Lupus at your age. It was hard enough to be in my 40s. The I didn't wear sunblock for awhile because my rheumatoligist never told me to, she never told me much just put me on medicine like plaqunil because I had the butterfly rash where my cheeks turned rosey red.She also put me on naproxin 250mg at first then 500mg, that stoped workimg after a while so now I'm taking Nebutone I forget how many mgs. But any way My life is a bumy roady glad to have joined your group.
