Guest guest
Ive not posted in awhile, had too many stressors at the moment. Ethan has had positional plagiophaly since his was a newborn, this was apparently due to his stiffness in his neck, and preference of laying to his left side. We noticed this as he was only a few days old. Every hospital photo we have of him is where he prefers to sleep on his left. We were monitored by our maternal and child health nurse, then referred to the plagiocephaly clinic at the Angliss. They only suggest techniques and assess the situation. After slowly showing improvement at 5 months, they decided that they would not refer him to the Childrens. Now he has been at 7 months. However, they have booked him in for an appointment when he is almost 11 months old. Isnt it too late to be assessed for treatment at 11 months???
