Guest guest
Hi - Many thoughts and prayers are with you today. I just had a miscarriage in Nov. and had to have a D & C afterwards (the procedure you will be having). I didn't have any pain (all the pain was before the procedure from the contractions) and only a little spotting after. I wasn't able to find Thiamazol either in the PDR but I did look on the internet. All of it was in German (?) and I couldn't read it but I gather it's a type of anti-thyroid drug (ATD) probably similar in structure to carbimazole and tapazole. What is Thyrax? Is it a type of thyroid hormone? Maybe that's why the doctor suggested terminating the pregnancy. The amount of ATD you have to take if they're trying to block thyroid hormone production completely is much greater than if they're just trying to control the hyperthyroidism and would be a greater risk to the fetus. Anyhow, I hope and pray that everything goes as well as can be expected for you today. There's a lot upheaval, both emotional and hormonal, that you probably will go through. Take good care of yourself and get lots of rest. Take care, > Hi , > > Thank you so much for your kind reply.
