Guest guest
I'm having a miserable time right now with a dosage change. My TSH had been between .5 and .8 for years and I was told it was ok for me to be at that level due to bad experience when first trying to get supressed. I am now at .2 after 6 weeks and experiencing terrible muscle pain everywhere and fatigue and dizziness upon exercise. My hands and feet are sometimes tingling and red hot. Night sweats are a problem now even though I am on estrogen. I take my beta-blocker as always and it does help with the runaway heartbeat. My pulse is way up in relation to whatever I'm trying to do which causes the exhaustion. It feels as if I am going to crumple on the spot. I have no appetite and right now am just eating because I have to eat. My endo says this is NOT an endocrine problem. Has anyone else ever felt like this? Does anyone have any thoughts about it? I can't stay this way. Thanks, Lin in Pa.
Guest guest
Dee, In your case the symptoms are most likely related to your high TSH. At 17 you are still quite hypo. When a patient is deeply suppressed other combinations of symptoms can appear that are confusing....the patient is hyper but many of the symptoms are hypo. A slight dose change usually corrects it.
