Guest guest
stacy, thanks for your reply. We agree with you, it's totally crooked and I kept thinking that I wasn't putting it on right but I tried many times and it moves when he leans his head on something. Lying down it doesn't fit him at all, so how is it supposed to reshape his head while sleeping??? The band was made from a cast but we didn't think it looks custom made. We didn't like the foam pieces from the beginning but We don't know what it's supposed to look like and that's why we appreciate all replies. thanks for directing me to the files section/good fit. the letters there gave me hope and inspiration to pursue other venues. thanks again, Tulip & baby Chris. > > > > > > Baby continues to do good for the most part. Guest guest
, don't worry about alarming me. I needed some honest, experienced opinions because we were having second thoughts already. I'm waiting for the OT to call me back and I also made an apptment with CT to get evaluated. it makes me so mad to waste so much time, we used this place because our insurance covered part of it and now we've wasted 2 more weeks... grrrr thanks for your reply tulip > > > > > > Baby continues to do good for the most part. Guest guest
Hi Tulip, I think you should really consider NOT putting/keeping that band on him. It could be making his head worse. Unfortunately we've had that happen to a few of our babies here. :-( Do you know if your current ortho has any experience? I don't think so by the fit and cut of your son's band. What are you going to do? How old is your son? Where are you located? I'm sorry about all the questions. I'm just trying to see what else you can do. Hopefully someone here is in your area and knows of an experienced ortho you could go to. Let us know. > > > > > > > > > Baby continues to do good for the most part. Guest guest
Tulip, I'm SOOOO happy to hear your going to CT!! You won't regret it. Bring your current band with you to your appointment, not on his head of course. When is your appointment? You should get your money back from the place you're going to now. Your insurance company paid them to perform a serivce, they haven't provided you with that service. Good luck, please keep us posted! > > > > > > > > > Baby continues to do good for the most part. Guest guest
, I appreciate your concern. is almost 7 months old and we live 2 hours north of Los Angeles, so the closest location is Toluca Lake and we'll be there on tuesday. I wanted to be there tomorrow but they had no openings. I hope we can get some money back from Lerman's but I don't know if it's possible. Right now I just want to get baby into a good band even if we pay for it but it's difficult because we're not rich people. I'll keep you guys posted, thanks again. Guest guest
Tulip, You should most definitely be able to get your money back!! Demand a refund, it's your right. They didn't provide you with the services they were paid for. If your insurance company paid them, you need to call your insurance co and tell them this place didn't do their job. Is your appointment at CT a casting appointment? -- In Plagiocephaly , " cutiecephaly " <cutiecephaly@...> wrote: > > , > I appreciate your concern. is almost 7 months old and we live > 2 hours north of Los Angeles, so the closest location is Toluca Lake > and we'll be there on tuesday.
