The Arc of Palm Beach County is pleased to announce an

exciting new program for Adults, 18 years or older,with

Developmental Disabilities. The Next Chapter Book Clubs

promote social connectedness, literacy learning and community inclusion. These

goals are accomplished by meeting at a local community setting and selecting a

book as a group. The group is overseen by a Volunteer Training Coordinator. We

also need volunteers to participate in

trainings. It is a 14 week commitment. The Next Chapter book

Club is an amazing experience for all involved.

We have one location in North County going “live” next week.

Locations in Boca Raton and Wellington are being

established.

The next Training is on Monday March 8th from

5:30 – 7PM.

The first meeting of the Next Chapter Book Club, North

County, will be on Wednesday March 10th at 3:30.

This chapter will be meeting weekly from 3:30-4:30 on

Wednesdays at the Starbucks Café inside the Target at Congress and Northlake

Blvd. in Lake Park. Please contact me with any questions.
