Guest guest
A song I wrote somewhere around 1997ish when I was still living at nada's house. I was like somewhere around 19 or 20ish at the time. I remember sitting in her living room with my guitar when I wrote it (she obviously wasn't home). I think it may have been a poem originally but I have no idea what I might have done with that. Nothing spectacular. But it does hint that something is sorely wrong. It's the only one I remember off the top of my head. Mother never mind, the sound of your child's aching crying. Even though she tries, she never makes you happy. She's the one who's always down. Mother never mind, the sound of your child's breaking mind. Even though she tries, she never makes you happy. She's the one who's always down. You, you, think that you are something perfect. But I think you should Stand before a mirror, and take yourself a deeper look. Mother never mind, the sound of your child's inner dying. Even though she tried, She never made you happy. She's the one who's always down. ©Mia
