Guest guest
Welcome home !!! Glad to hear you're hanging in there sweetie, and if you need a couple pills til tomorrow, I'd call the hospital back and have them give u a couple til the pharmacy opens. Keep us posted! Dawn I'm home Hi Everyone, I just got home an hour ago from the hospital, glad to be out of there, I'm now on the other side and feeling OK. Letting me out on Sunday night didn't help me with the drugs that I need because CVS is closed so here I am crushing up some tylinol up and mixing it in my juice just to get me through tonight. I'm glad to have this over with and if you are having surgery at Newton Wellesley then pray for a nurse like Ann Marie O'Hara OMG what a God send to me over the last 3 days, she was wonderful. I will post more later but need to go rest now. C

Guest guest
Yep, If a man ever had a mammogram on their "boys" there would be a new machine invented today! lol Come up to our house, it stays around 68 all the time. Plus ceiling fans going everywhere. Wonderful on the lowering of your cholesterol, how did you do it?? Ditto the weight loss.

Guest guest
Good luck with keeping the temp down....I've found that even when the temp is way down I still get the sweats and then...I freeze even with the temp up, LOL. Mine isn't from menopause, just some relation to the AI stuff. I think my temp goes up but most of the time when this happens I can't face the thought of getting up to check...or even turning on the light the few times I put the thermometer next to the bed. My brother is in Port Charlotte, but he says that at this point it's supposed to be a tropical storm by the time it hits there...of course that was yesterday. Glad to hear that you're still in VA, Dawn...I'm sure the dogs will be fine. I know what you mean about the mammogram, Christy....and everytime I go now they have to redo at least one breast and then do the ultrasound. What a PITA! Congrats on the weight loss! Kathy I'm home OK someone find me the name of the MAN (I know it was a man!) who invented mammograms! They should be fuzzy, coated with fur, have a built-in warming device and, if it HAS to squish you, it should so it with a gel-filled device while it sings "I Honestly Love You" by Olivia Newton ! I have been poked, proded, rammed and jammed, stuck and jimmied since 8:45 this morning. I've had enough. I do have good news! My cholesterol is down to 192 (from 230) and I have TWO pounds left to lose until I'm at my first goal!!!!!! Woohoooo! Bad news: I'm in "perimenopause." Doc recommends we keep the house below 70 in the daytime and under 65 during the night. ROFLMAO!!!! I was having terrible night sweats last night and went to put the thermostat from 77 to 76, just to make the air come on, and Ronnie had a duck fit! GRRRRRRRRRR It's cooler outside under the trees! We're going to have to discuss this tonight! OK bad news, good news and everything in between.............. I'm going to take a nap. We've opened our house to 4 Florida evacuees if needed so I really need to clean! Like they're going to care but ya know............. Christy.......... in major need of TLC and alone with my 2 4-legged pals! Answer questions, earn points and buy cool things. Easy!http://www.sixquestions.com/ImAFriend.asp?me=57845 Please visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com

Guest guest
My guess would be that the cholesterol lowering is directly related to the weight loss.
