Extra Care for autistic child

Hi. I have 9 year old son with autism. I am looking to hire someone to give extra help in the afternoons and weekends. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what person to hire? A college student? A teacher asst? A therapist? Where would I begin to look for this individual or individuals?How much do I pay? Would it be beneficial to use respite services?This is new to me and I want to do the best thing?
