Guest guest
What a great analogy. We have 30 hrs/week of wrap service, ABA and our therapists use DTT. My son has gone from moaning and throwing everything and NOT eating anything except pb & j's, crackers/pretzels,..... to talking, working, learning, and eating EVERYTHING. I feel very strongly that this type of therapy when done correctly is awesome. I realize we are lucky here in Pittsburgh to have these services provided to us, and I feel for any family that does not have the opportunity to have their child participate in this type of therapy. DTT is one of many methods used in ABA. But to use the terms interchangeably is incorrect. It would be like saying that dish washing and a sponge are the same thing. They aren’t, the sponge is one element of washing the dishes, an important one, but there are other elements as well. If you only used the sponge but never added soap or water, your results would be less than desirable The New Busy is not the too busy. Combine all your e-mail accounts with Hotmail. Get busy.
