Guest guest
Hi Wendi, It really looks great! I'm glad to hear that he's adjusting well to his band. I'm sad to hear it's already scratched up, but Wes' did the same (he manages to beat himself in the band with rattles and toys and things!). I will probably take ours back to Tammy as well here soon. I was going to try touching it up myself but the supplies she used on mine are pretty hard to find, so I think I'll let the "expert" do it! Wes is doing ok in his band. He's still having some red spot/skin sensitivity issues and we had to take him in this morning so Mendy could take a look at them. (We are so happy she is back!!!) She "smoothed" out some of the ridges that were creating the red spots and thinks some of the patches are eczema related, so I will just continue to apply my hydrocortisone cream in hopes it will work! If the red spot issues are not cleared up by our regular adjustment on Friday she is going to have to use moleskin in a few places. She said she saw some progress with Wes as well which is exciting. She predicts he will be out of the band by mid-May which is only in six weeks!!! I am not going to get my hopes up but that is so terrific to imagine! We are still working to correct the plagio/asymmetry issues first and hopefully by our adjustment on Friday we will be able to begin rounding out the back which is his biggest problem from the brachy. I can't wait until we can do that since it is the most noticeable. Thanks for asking about Wes and I'm glad to hear Ryder is making progress as well - YAY MENDY! (She's the best...) Take care and have a good week, Mommy to Wes - 5 months old - DOCband since 3/10 - Dallas, TX In a message dated 3/27/2006 4:36:21 P.M. THe paint did really well over the weekend & then when I took him to daycare today the back was pretty scratched up...I think beciase they don't have bumber pads on their cribs...I am going to wait & take it back to Tammy in a couple of weeks after I stop working & have her touch it up. How is Wes doing in his Band..we had our weekly appt with CT today...she says she sees progress, it is hard for us to tell..but I trust them. I was just happy that Mendy was back.
