Guest guest
Lyssa, Sorry, I just got my messages, and saw you had problems, but seemed to get thru them. I would have recommended the worst possible thing to do, but it helps me when something is REALLY stuck...I stick my finger down the throat JUST A LITTLE (not enough to puke, but enough to gag), it seems to dislodge it for me, then it either comes up, or slides down. Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT BULIMIC, just needed a bit of help with getting it unstuck! Glad you're better mum! Dawn STUCK OUCH! 2 years and several months out .. I ate a sliced apple today and an hour or so later I feel horrible. I feel like its stuck in my chest .. at least I'm assuming its the apple. I've tried sipping hot tea an then later diet coke to dislodge this feeling .. and it only hurt worse. I've been trying to " burp " it up (sorry not to be gross). Aside from making myself sick (which I'm miserable at doing) any suggestions??? Lyssa

Guest guest
Lyssa, I would try a 1/4 teaspoon in about a third cup of water ...used to help me when I had trapped gas or what not when I was pregnant. Hope you feel better.

Guest guest
Wow... amazing that this happened after so much time. I’m glad you feel better! I feel like I can eat big chunks without anything getting stuck. Sometimes I take a big bite and get scared, but then nothing happens. I wonder if my stoma is stretched. Anyway, how are you doing with the pregnancy, ? -AA Lyssa wrote: > I answered my own question. Guest guest
I pretty much felt invincible myself .. I've definitely gulped down food before in the past .. it was a good reminder to chew well .. don't care to repeat that any time soon. Pregnancy wise doing very well thankyou. I have an ultrasound on the 14th and hopeful to find out the sex. Meanwhile I am 17 weeks pregannt and have just started feeling the baby move. At my last appt on the 24th of August I had gained 4 lbs so far which my midwife said was good. Lyssa --- Alice Austin wrote: > Wow... amazing that this happened after so much time.
