Guest guest
That's an interesting question! Hmm... I think I would say pasta! There are unlimited ways I can serve them (baked ziti, spaghetti with sausage or meatballs or eggplant parm, mac and cheese, macaroni salad, etc.). Soy milk replaces regular milk in cereal, smoothies, pudding etc. It has no cholesterol, as much calcium as milk plus added fiber. The points value is the same as skim milk also. The light bread for toast, sandwiches, and even makes a light version of hamburger and hot dog buns . I just make a thin wider patty and have it between lt bread or wrap a slice around a hot dog for a 1/2 a pt bun!! Caren ><(((*>

Guest guest
Good Morning everyone! I would have to say my cayenne pepper. I use this to add spice to some of the bland recipes. Also, I seem to use lots of garlic! Love that stuff! -- Question of the day--Friday 8-9-02 What is the most versatile ingredient that you keep in your pantry that you use to make so many different things? My Answer: I think I would have to say.....the trio...red bell pepper, onion, and celery, plus garlic. These go into almost every dinner or lunch meal I make. Also, bulgar this can be eaten for any meal or snack. What about you? Maureen

Guest guest
SALSA!!! I put it on chips, add it to soups, dump it on potatoes, mix it into chili, etc. I add it to my zero point soup to zest it up. I lovelovelove taking a tortilla, spreading a little ff or lite cream cheese (or sprinkling with shredded 2% cheese) and browning it in a pam-sprayed pan and topping it with lots of salsa. Plus, it counts towards fruit/veggie right? tee hee.. :0) riza > What is the most versatile ingredient that you keep in your pantry > that you use to make so many different things? > > My Answer: > > I think I would have to say.....the trio...red bell pepper, onion, > and celery, plus garlic.
