Im doing more research on this but does anyone know if the effects remain an issue even after the implants are properly removed or will iot always be a potential issue for any woman who has had implants? > > Bet you didn't know how safe those toxic bombs are! . . . Guest guest
I have been wondering the same thing. I have 2 beautiful, healthy Children and would love the idea of having more in the future but I am now scared that my implant problems could affect any more children that I may have. I am explanted and for the most part feel pretty good. I just have some mild symptoms. I think about any problems that may be passed to any future babies even if I am feeling good........ I hope that once we detox and get as many toxins out of our bodies as possible that we will be able to go on and have healthy children.......I'm sure this is a concern for many of us in this group...... Guest guest
, There haven't been any significant studies done on the effects of breast implants on children . . . before or after explant. AFter over fourty years, you have to wonder why? This is something that affects so many children. . . The FDA has hundred of reports on file on behalf of the children . . . hundreds of thousands of reports on women's problems . . . But NOTHING from them! . . . IMHO, the cost of health care is going to become horribly burdensome on this country because of the FDA's failure to do their job - and not just with implants! I started Group's SiliconeKids because the parents need to network . . . After three years, we aren't seeing anything that helps the kids beyond a very healthy diet. . . Something is happening to these kids we don't understand. There is evidence that there are third generation effects . . i.e. grandma's implants may make her grandkids sick. Many implanted women have difficulty getting pregnant . . . then if they do get pregnant, have difficulty carrying the child to full term. . . . The kids problems start with rashes, welts, bone/joint pain, digestive problems, skin disorders, deformed extremties, cognitive and learning disorders, chemical sensitivities, and more. . . We have only a few women who have had children after explant who have stayed in touch . . . is one of our prime examples. . . She worked very hard to get herself as healthy as possible and to detox before getting pregnant. . She's had two healthy kids since explant. Only the child she had before explant has any health problems . . He has Celiac disease. Hugs, Rogene

Guest guest
Hi Beth, I have a 3 year old but was not implanted until after i had him. I was specifically told " there was no danger " to kids when I asked becuase i knew i wanted to have more but i was only concerned about the implant and feeding, i never even thought of other disorders that could result just from having them in my body. I realize that there is nothing to prove this is all related and most likely never will be but just the idea is enough to scare anyone. > > I have been wondering the same thing. Guest guest
, This answer remains an unknown. However, we have had several women who have given birth after explanting, and have had healthy children. had 2 more children, but she did not breastfeed out of concern about possible chemical exposures. Both of her new babies are very healthy! Her child that was born with implants suffers from gluten intolerance, like . She's a great example of what can be accomplished when you put your mind to it. As long as you are pursuing a healthy lifestyle, you should have healthy kids, and hopefully the implant issue can be a thing of the past for you and not have any effect. Guest guest
Hi Patty, Thanks for the info, it is very reassuring. I was a paranoid nut case when i was pregnant with my son becuase we had to go through Invitro Fertilaztion and I had a stressful pregnancy with him. Thankfully i did not have implants back then so that was not a concern. How does someone determine how much or how long they need to detox? I am definetly showing symptoms which is why i am having them explanted but the symptoms are not severe at all. > > > > > > Bet you didn't know how safe those toxic bombs are! . . . Guest guest
, It's beyond sad . . .It's criminal . . Some of the adult offspring testified before the FDA panel hearings. . The fact is that the FDA is bought and paid for . . . It's not going to to anything about breast implants as long as the money is rolling in from the surgeon and manufacturer's. . . . It's up to the public to educated themselves! . . . Hopefully one day these criminals will find themselves behind bars for the rest of their lives . . and all the blood money they accumulated stripped away from them. You can read the transcripts of the FDA hearings if you have any doubts! Rogene

Guest guest
You detox until you feel back to normal, and then you continue detoxing regularly for the rest of your life. With implants, while we don't know all of the answers as to why we are sick, it seems that there is the possiblity that some bodily systems have been permanently damaged or altered. For instance, in my case, I have an autoimmune thyroid disease, so now I have to take thyroid hormones for the rest of my life. In other cases, the effect is not known, but the woman remains susceptible to certain things she was not before, such as food allergies, chemical sensitivities, hormonal disruptions, or less endurance overall. Detoxing helps the body to be able to function more efficiently without the added " baggage " from the toxins that can affect it, even though we aren't sure what we are dealing with. We are exposed to toxins daily in our food, air, water and hygiene products, so detoxing after implants almost becomes a necessary lifelong pursuit in order to make sure we don't relapse. Guest guest
The only doubts i have anymore is my faith in doctors. The dangers of implants are out there but unless you have a support group such as this to lead you in the right direction they are very hard to find. Unfortunelty there are plenty of sites promoting how great implants are but unless you know otherwise it is very hard to find the dangers unless you know what to look for. I knew something was wrong for a while before finding this support group however when you cant find anything to support your theory and doctor after doctor looks at you like your nuts, you start to believe it, at least i did anyway. > > , > > It's beyond sad . . .It's criminal . . Guest guest
Amen sister! I really dont know what i would have done without this group. Probably nothing! Its funny how people would choose to believe that there is something mentally wrong with you rather then accept the fact that implants pose serious problems. My friends think im crazy but yet 3 of them that were scehduled to have implants have now canceled. hhhmmmmm! Hey whatever it takes right? > > ~ > I think we all share that common > experience.
