Guest guest
FYI ~ to ALL I worked in an office that had 2 surgery suites in it. These rooms were rarely cleaned well, muchless sterilized. No special filters in the vents in the room to keep out insulation particles, no special mopping dailey, laundry was done at his home by his maid, not done by a steril method, The only thing steril was the steril packs they did in the autoclave. There was never even a hairnet or head cap worn during surgeries. Very sloppy technique........in a very unsteril environment. Doctors create these OR's so they can collect more money from surgeries. There are groups of doctors that use surgical suites that are closer to a hospital environment but not really, they just look like it, and that way they can say the proceedure was done in a surgical suite owned by a company that is cheaper than a hospital but the same and owned by a independent company. That "independent company" is really owned by those doctors that use it, and they gave it a name and made it a separate company for tax purposes, so patients dont know they own it so they can charge separate fees and pretend they dont own it, and if they get sued as a doctor, their OR facility is protected as it is separate from their medical practice........the list goes on....... SO, lots of things factor in there.......I am leary, but because I know to be........I worked with it 14 years....but in medical 26 years.. I am glad to hear you are ok, and didnt get infection.
