Guest guest
Darling Dede: I am so sorry that you had to go through all of this pain. We know that silicone is to blame; however, no doctor will admit that there is a connection. Honey, the pain is horrible, and I will try the ice. My doctors are all away and will not be back until tomorrow. They are really ignorant when it comes to peer reviewed articles. We know that they know, but they are afraid that their peers will get them in trouble. Poor babies. I have my rheumatologist's email and I will send him the article on "Destructive Arthritis Due to Silicone". Take care of our Dede...love you....Lea and Superman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Knees.....baker cyst........Lea....... Sweet Lea ~ In 1999, I had knee surgery. Prior to that my knee was very bum, very swollen, front and back, and a real pain in the knee, I mean ass. I had a bakers cyst due to a meniscus that was shreaded down to hamburger meat, due to a nasty case of osteo-arthritis. I had been putting heat on it as it felt so soothing, but my orthapedic surgeon told me that heat caused inflammation and swelling although it was soothing, but that ice is what it needed as it would shrink the swelling and reduce the inflammation. He was one of the top sports medicine orthapedics here in town. His recommendations were exactly correct. Ice helped it more than anything. When he did my surgery, the meniscus was not repairable, so he cleaned out my knee, and threw it out. Then he shaved my bones in there because the osteo-arthritis had badly freyed the bones in my knees, and that is what chewed up my meniscus, the freyed bones. After shaving the bones, he closed my knee up. So, now I am unfortunate to have a bone on bone knee. When Arthur Ritis is visiting, it makes it very difficult to walk using my left knee. They told me that my right knee also needs the surgery, and it was actually worse than the left one, but at the time wasnt hurting me, and so I only had the one knee done. No way in haedes will I ever have knee surgery again. I rather have ground meniscus than no pad at all. I wonder how much all those chemicals in the silicone is causeing my horrible osteoporosis, and osteo-arthritis. I am sure quite responsible ~ Please use ice, it will help.....heat feels good, but can worsen the inflammation.......The bakers cyst comes and goes in my right knee...... Guest guest
Hello Sweet Lea ~ How are you today ? You are so right its amazing how so many doctors are big chickens......expect so much money as they think so highly of themselves and their education but yet become literal idiots and cover up artists to help drug companies murder by pills and robbery. Such weak human beings living a very low life. I have lost respect for much of that community. I do know we do have some angels out there, but they are just hard to find. It is strange how we have to educate them and pay them for our time.......alittle backasswards, dont ya think ? I love ya lady, I hope the ice is helping your leg. Guest guest
My sweet Dede: My leg is getting better, but it is still painful. We hope that you are feeling better too. How is your father doing, and is he finished with his treatments? The surgeon finally called again yesterday. She is out to lunch, because she told me that the mammogram did not show any signs of cancer. Who was looking for cancer? She was asked to clean out the old garbage from the silicone breast implants. She will not talk about breast implants and she told me that I could have an MRI if we pay for it. You know what she can do! My rheumatologist will be calling me this morning, he has to look at the ultrasound and the X-ray that they did in the ER. His nurse told me that I will have to see him today, or tomorrow, because he might want to do a CT-Scan. All we want to know is why this has happened to me....this is my 8th. day in pain. He is just a few doors down from the surgeon, and I am sure that they think that I am trouble. Honey, please get well so we can help you to get your implants out. Sending love and hugs....Lea and Superman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~````````````````````` Re: Knees.....baker cyst........Lea.......bless your heart: Hello Sweet Lea ~ How are you today ? Guest guest
Well hello Sweet Lea ~ I am behind as usual, .......Dad is only on his 3rd treatment, it will be done tuesday. He is so tired he can barely function, but he feels pretty good today. Fortunately he has a couple days he doesnt feel so bad between treatments. 2 1/2 weeks of pure hell, then a couple days not so bad, but so tired he can barely function, bless his heart. After this one, then one more in 3 weeks, then they will scan him to see if the tumor is shrinking. If not, then they will hit him real hard. I pray that is not the case. Well, sounds like your surgeon needs firing......she cant even get it streight why you are seeing her....... They are wasting their time on all these tests. This is pathetic and incompetent ! at least we are ruleing out the idiots ! ! Love you ~ DStart the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year. Guest guest
Darling Dede: This is so sad. I wish that your father's treatments were over, this is all so unfare. We will continue to pray that he will be well very soon. I am so far behind with my emails that I really feel guilty. My leg is still very painful and I am trying to take our Christmas tree down this morning. The ornaments are all packed in tissue, and ready to go downstairs. is working on the course ,and his boss has not responded to his email asking for more time. He is going to get it when I see him. This is causing us more stress, because today is the day that it was to be finished. Honey, I will call my rheumatologist this morning because he wanted to know if the Cortisone shot worked. My knee is fine, but my calf and shin hurts when I stand. Take care, and know that we are all here for you both....love you...Lea and Superman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~````` Re: Knees.....baker cyst........Lea.......bless your heart: Well hello Sweet Lea ~ I am behind as usual, .......Dad is only on his 3rd treatment, it will be done tuesday.
