My June went well. I made some big changes and I am seeing the scale go

DOWN. WOW down what a concept. I am being true to myself. I started June

with little changes and by June 10th it fell into a routine for me. I dont

know if it was kids being home. Just sick of fat. OR other goals that I

have set. BUT it is working right now. Granted I am on 3rd full week of

trying to succeed in this weight loss journey. I am making better choices.

AND I am not starving. Using soup as a filler. Eating more veggies.

Foodmoving. AND biggest hubby weighs me now. Every Fri.

How was your June?

I'd say June was pretty good around here. I survived my trip with the

diet.

Did you make changes?

I had committed to following the yeast free/dairy free diet for the

month and did alright with it.

Did you lose weight?

Yes, I guess I have lost about 11 pounds total.

How are your spirits?

Good! I have more energy than I did so I don't feel as useless. I had

been laid up with my back for over 3 months, so I just wasn't getting much

done. I hate having to ask someone else to do things for me.

Where you true to yourself?

I think so. I fudged a few times on the diet, but each time it wasn't

an impulsive thing. I had decided on a couple of occasions ahead of time,

that I wasn't going to worry about what I ate and even then, I still skipped

the bread.

June was good. I have been sticking to my foodmover and exercise plan. Yep, I

lost weight. My spirits are high! I just went shopping and I found 3 shirts in

my size! The actually fit. Not tight any where. I have even gotten a great start

on July. My kids are starting to make better food choices too. I am still having

a little trouble with my salt but it is getting better. I hope every one else is

doing well too.

>How was your June?

Up and down

> Did you make changes?

I did stop smoking! Yeah me! I'm trying to feel proud of it but somehow I

just don't. It's like: yeah, yeah I stopped {shrugged}

> Did you lose weight?

Nope gained back the 2 pounds I had lost, but had to eat pop-cycle(sp) to

stop from smoking. If anyone's wondering how I did: pop-cycle(sp)! lol

> How

>are your spirits?

Great now! Up and down all months. Work is hard, stopping smoking is hard,

not overeating is hard, going to bed at reasonable hours is hard, my mom is

hard to live with.... and on... and on

>Where you true to yourself?

Not really I think, will try and do better in July. At least I have a plan.

So huge. Stopping smoking is so hard. BUT remember you dont need them like

we need food to survive which makes the food thing hard as well. Have alot

of carrot sticks and celery sticks around to help you get over that thing in

the hand thing. And for a while put the money you would of spent away for

your ME stuff. Make yourself a ME basket with bath stuff, magazine, cd,

candles, and such and go in lock the bathroom and enjoy.

Just a quick question for all........how many women have you personally convinced not to get breast implants? My answer are 3 saved, beautiful, intelligent women from implants plus 1 from doing a tummy tuck. This is in addition to making 2 young men understand the dangers of implants as well - they have sworn to me that if their future wives/girlfriends want them, they will be against it.Think about your answers and you'll see, we are making a difference.Love to all,TraciNo hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle. ~Winston Churchill

As of now - I have saved one. My very close cousin wanted to look into getting inplants. I told her my experience and problems and she has opted to buy some nice padded bras. :) I wish I would have done that also......
