I finally made an appointment with a local NMD. I go this coming

Monday. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on what I should

ask or cover during this consultation? He has 40 yrs experience and

has worked with people stating they have had problems with cosmetic

surgery - mostly mentioned was tummy tucks.

There is also a NMD in the Cincinnati, OH area that I considered.

Although, that is about an hour and a half away so I thought I would

try for the closer one first.... :) They were very helpful on the

phone.

We've seen several naturopaths. The main thing is like in any

profession, some are great and some are not. Our family doctor for a

long time was a naturopath and she was okay for run-of-the mill stuff

( and okay with not vaxing), but she never really believed that there

was anything wrong with my son, she just thought he was a late talker.

She thinks biomed stuff is dangerous but doesn't know much about it.

About a year ago we switched to a new naturopath who is a DAN!

(although I didn't actually know that at the time) and she has been

INCREDIBLE! I think with our kids what matters most is how

knowledgeable they are and how open they are to learning, since this

field is always changing. I would specifically look for a naturopath

who has experience with biomed stuff.

trying to figure this stuff out and thought maybe a Naturopath might

be the way to go for now.

Thank you for the advice.

I will ask them when they call.  I hate to bring him to a lot of different

people.  He has AAC evaluations and developmental evaluations in the couple of

months, so I don't want to overwhelm him.

Thanks,

Kelley

Kelley,

My kids are not autistic, but have ADHD, ADD eczema, allergies and

asthma. I used a nutritionist/naturopath and it has helped my

kids. She tests urine and saliva and individualizes a program with

vitamins, homeopathic medicine and food restrictions. My daughter

has had the best report card she has had in 3 years, her anger has

subsided and the dark circles under their eyes has faded.

She does the test through the mail and consults are done over the

phone so anyone can use her. Let me know if you are interested.

I am interested, I didn't realize it could be effective without them meeting my

son.

Can you e-mail her name and number to me?

Thanks,

Kelley

Hi Sharon,

Is your Naturopath located in Ontario and if yes, would be kind to share his/her

address and contact info.

Thanks,

Magi
