It sucks when you feel so crappy, and have all these crappy diagnoses thrown at ya, and you know what can happen. Just also know, that health can happen too, and that is what will happen with you. It is hard not to freak with all this crap, my heart is so with you ! ! When you go to bed breath in Gods healing energy, and exhale all the negative. Do slow long deep breaths in your nose, and exhale out your mouth. Focus on God and your angels and how beautiful and peaceful it is, and you are......... Guest guest
Lynn - I am not familiar enough with this to give much advice BUT please calm down and relax. Call your MD/ND tomorrow and discuss these concerns with him. He shoudl be open to listen and discuss them with you. I am one of those people who can not take something without knowing what it is, why I am taking it and weighing the side effect/risk. After I had my implants surgery, I jsut took what they gave me and now I wish I would have researched it more. I think if you talk with your doctor tomorrow and see what he has to say. Maybe some of the other women on here will have some suggestions of "natural" things to do or try. However, sometime you just need an antibiotic... Hang in there....I know it is all overwhelming and scary. I hope I did not upset you by commenting on Cipro...I just wanted you to have all the info before you take something. Everyone is different and what happened to me may not happen to you. I just wanted you to be aware of the side effects. Much Love, Beth Stool Sample okay, I looked but both the bacteria in my stool samples and they scare me to death! Both are linked death! I wouldn't be too scared because it is in the stool but I had the open bleeding hemrrhoids. Do you think it is possible it could get in to my blood stream. I am freaking out pretty bad right now. Guest guest
Beth, I am scared about both the side effects and what could happen if I didn't treat. The two bacteria they found are horrible bacterias. The mortality rate is high, especially in individuals who are sick. I am going to call in the morning to find out how serious they are. I would think if he thought they were horrible that I would be in the hospital. So, I will try to relax for now. Don't worry, you didn't scare me too bad. I just don't know what is worse, the treatment of the bacteria with the Cipro or not treating it and becoming really sick. Since I can't go to the bathroom normally, I don't want to develop leaky gut with this bacteria in me - that really freaks me out. I will call him in the morning. Hugs, Lynn > > Lynn - I am not familiar enough with this to give much advice BUT please calm down and relax. Call your MD/ND tomorrow and discuss these concerns with him. Guest guest
Lynn - It may be that you will need to treat the bacteria and take the Cipro.... you may not have any problems from it and if you would develope problems, they can be dealt with. I am dealing with them now. The probotics and enzymes work wonders. Even thought my gut is still messed up, it is getting better. So, even though the cipro did mess me up, I do feel I can treat it and heal in time. Just remember..not everyone has problems with it. The risk of taking it may outweigh the risk of not. If you do need to take it, be postive and think that you will not have any trouble. If you would have a reaction, you know we are all here to help you through it. Much Love, Beth PS - I am tunring in for the night. Try to get some rest and let us know what your doctor says tomorrow. I will say a special prayer for you tonight!!!! Guest guest
Dede, You always know how to make me smile. Yes, I am worrying way to much. I think he would have called me the minute he got my results had he been concerned about it or been more aggressive with IV antibiotics. Sorry, you know how many issues I have with darn constipation. I just think about all that crappy bacteria filled shit building up in me! Again, no poop since Saturday!! Thanks for the smile. I needed it. Hope I can sleep. Love you Dede. Guest guest
Hi Lynn, I didn't mean to scare you about the Cipro. It's just that when I happened to search for info on it while I was taking it, a lot of people online had felt it made them worse for quite some time after taking it...mainly with clostridia difficile which causes horrendous diarrhea. I'm sure there are other options. As far as the bacteria you have in your gut, please don't worry yourself. We ALL have potentially deadly bacteria in our guts. Don't stress yourself out over it. I used to do the same thing until I read a lot of books on digestion and it can all be reversed! You say you're worried about getting leaky gut, but the reality is chances are you already have it...most likely any of us who have autoimmune issues have it...that's what causes the autoimmune symptoms to crop up to begin with. As long as our guts are healed, we feel fine. When the gut is perforated, food proteins escape into the blood causing immune reactions. The body gets confused thinking these proteins are foreign invaders. That's why you used to be able to tolerate all kinds of food and now can't...the body now sees them as foreign because the proteins are circulating in part of the body that they shouldn't be. If you heal the gut, the symptoms go away. That's why diet is crucial for us but you're taking care of that!! According to Jordan Rubin who had extremely high levels of deadly bacteria and leaky gut, it takes the gut two years to heal with proper diet, enzymes and probiotics. According to Breaking the Vicious Cycle book, the author, Elaine G., says it takes 6 months to 2 years by doing the same and avoiding gluten. Neither author believes in antibiotics as being the treatment...in fact, both authors believe antibiotics contribute to the problem. They are all about diet. You're on the right track!! Jordan has recovered fully and is healthier than he ever was. Elaine Gothchild's daughter fully recovered as well. See what your doc says in the morning and then make your decision. I don't want it to be overwhelming for you but just wanted to share what I've learned in struggling w/ my own digestion. Just relax and keep doing what you're doing. Love, PH > > > > Lynn - I am not familiar enough with this to give much advice BUT > please calm down and relax. Call your MD/ND tomorrow and discuss > these concerns with him.
