I have always gotten Jordan's poop stains out of her outfits with the

pre-treater I use. I spray it on and rub it into the stain with a

fingernail or tooth brush. Here's how I make the pretreater:

1 part Wisk

1 part ammonia (I use lemon-scented)

1 part water

1 part white vinegar

Mix all together in a spray bottle (I use an old Spray and Wash one) and

shake to blend.

Hope this helps. We have yet to have any poop stains remain after

laundering.

I use this pre-treater on every clothing stain (except grease...I use

Stanley degreaser for that). I was amazed when I got out some of my son's

old baby clothes. He was a formula baby, and some things had set in four

year old formula stains on them. I was able to get most of them out! Some

you can still see, but on several outfits, you can't even tell the stains

were there! It works really well, but doesn't smell quite as nice as Shout

or Spray and Wash! : )

And BTW....I didn't mean an actual fingernail! That was meant to be a

fingernail brush or toothbrush! I don't think the actual nail would work!!

:-D

Michele,

The only thing I have found that works is to rinse it in cold water as soon

as it happens, drown it in Shout, and put it in the washer right away. That

always worked for me.

I know what you mean, though. Blake pooped on the outfit he was going to

get his three month pictures made in just a week before picture day.

Needless to say we had to decide on another outfit. :-)

Sue,

Now that is a great idea and something I have here. LOL How much do you

dilute it? Do you use it on all your laundry stains?
