when to start ALA; after DMSA

I wanted to confirm regarding timing of starting

ALA after initially starting DMSA. I have been

chelating with DMSA for about 2 months; now up to

15mg every 4 hours still on a 3 day on, 3-5 day

off schedule. I am still getting occasional

headaches about an hour after a dose. I have not

been able to go longer than 3 days as it really

wipes me out. I also have progressive multiple

sclerosis which is probably very related to the

very high mercury levels found in blood and urine.

My doc wanted me to stay on DMSA and was not in

favor of moving to DMPS as suggested on the lists.

I wanted to confirm that I should start low dose

ALA about 3 months after my initial starting of

DMSA. I have never been able to tolerate ALA in

the past.
