A lot of times I will make some kind of potatoes for everyone else and then I will have bulgur or couscous, they don't like to have those too often, but I can get a lot more for the points. Our pool has a leak and I am trying to figure out where and get it cleaned (still having problems with it being nasty), I think we are going to end up draining it and taking it down for this year. It took about a week of multiple shock treatments and then we had to add some granular clarifier to the filter. The liquid clarifier wasn't touching the cloudiness so I went to the pool place in town and this is what they recommend. Did you know, also, that you need to change the sand in your filter every year? We have been in this house for 8 years and have never changed the sand! So needless to say , this is on our to-do list for this weekend. Unfortunately, we probably only have another month of swimmable weather before it gets too cool here in the mountains. Summer went by too quickly, but, I'm kinda glad things will be slowing down soon. (BTW, we made garlic-dill pickles last night.
