Rogene - I ate my dinner tonight and so far so good. I did not eat much as I have no appetite...so we will see what happens.

I have thought about doing something to get over my fears of flying. I may look into the recommendation you gave me. It is more of a fear of death I have....for some reason, I associate flying with death. Like I just know my plane will crash......I know it seems crazy but I have such a fear. Will all the terrorism going on, it just scares me. I joking told my hubby I would go if Air Force One would pik me up...hahaha...he laughed at me and told me good luck with that one!!!!!

I do plan on getting everything in order as far as passport and clearance for me and the boys so if I go everything will be ready. It also bothers me because he will have to do TDY's which makes him travel anywhere from 3 days to 3 months. The thought of being overseas alone with him gone is not appealing. At least here I have family and friends. There is just alot involved but the learning experience for the boys would be great. After 5 yrs, we could come back to the D.C. area IF we could afford tolive there. The cost of living is out of site there.....but there are some great towns about 30 mins. outside of D.C. I went there last May to visit him and other than the traffic, it was not too bad. I'll keep you posted!!!!!

Much Love,

Beth

Re: Rogene- NEED ADVICE ! !

Beth,It's possible Deb is not able to get online from wherever she is right now. She's a missionary. I don't know what her living conditions are.I hope you can make the decision to join your hubby. I know it's really, really tough . . . But, if you don't, you'll be blaming yourself for everything that goes wrong in their lives from now on. They need both parents! . . . You need each other if your marriage is going to work. You might see if you can find someone to help you with your fear of flying. It doesn't have to be a shrink. There are some people who specialize in helping people with phobias. Silva Mind Control techniques would work like a charm. It's far more dangerous to travel by car than by plane! We know that, yet we travel by car anyway because we have to. I'd skip the enzymes until after you see your N.D. . . . I think

your tummy needs a break. Hugs,Rogene

Acid, Olive Leaf and Oregeno Oil now after its been 1 week after surgery and do I continue

to drink my kefir and cabbage while doing this at the same time? But I stop Probiotics Right?

Beth . . . I'm glad your tummy is better! You might want to read "Final Gifts" . . . it's a book about dying . . .Some hospice nurses recommended it when we were caring for my father-in-law during his final day. I don't think anyone could read that book and still fear death. . . Where we are right now is just a stop along the way to a much better future. I see our life on this earth as schooling for eternal life. What I fear is dying a slow, painful death. . . But then we don't get to chose that. If you'll be living on a U.S. base, you'll have lots of company. . . The kids will be get so much attention! . . . You won't be alone. . . Could your hubby put you in contact

with some of the other State Department wives now? They could give you an idea of what life will be like there. . . Changes, and the facing the unknown can be scary . . . but, from what I've seen, it's those unexpected things that makes life so exciting. If you do move to D.C., I'm sure the cost of living is figured into the salaries . . . otherwise they couldn't find anybody to work there! . . . I've been there a couple times on implant related stuff. The subway system makes getting in and around D. C. pretty easy. There are some beautiful places around D. C. to live. And there are sooooooo many interesting places there! . . I met a square dancer while we were in Mesa who lives just outside of D.C. in land. She was so enthusiastic about the opportunities she has to hear very experienced and knowledgeable people speak about national and world affairs. Things you would never see in the newspaper or on TV! I suggested that they put

some of the speeches online so others can listen to them. . . She indicated she was going to look into that. I hope they do!I'm rambling . . . need to get to the sauna if I'm going to do it tonight!Hugs,Rogene

Rogene - my tummy is still feeling good so far and I

have had 3 meals today and I have not taken any

enzymes. We will see what happens tomorrow. I had a

very promising appointment today that I will post on

more when I have some time to concentrate (without the

kiddies :) )

I have spoken with some of the other wives in Korea.

Actually, they all are having babies because Korea is

such a GREAT place to have them at. They take

excellent care of you while pregnant. They say that

it is hard sometimes to be so far away but overall

they all like it.

I may look into the book. I was NEVER afraid of death

until I had children. Now, I panic about not only my

health and death for me but also for them. I have a

whole new outlook on the value of life. It scares me

to think my kids may have to go on without me and I

know I could not make it if something happened to my

children. I think that is why I feel so scared when it

comes to health and death.

Yes, D.C. is nice and we would live on the outskirts.

My hubby has some family in the area so that would be

nice. PLus it is only a 45 min. flight and a 8 hr

drive if we ever would have to get home quickly.

There are some greatr places to go in D.C. As far as

the cost of living....well they do take it in

consideration but it is still very expensive. It

would be tough on only 1 income. I would go back to

work after the boys got in school if I needed to.....

Much Love,

Beth

The reason you should not have milk with candida is because milk has

lactose...milk sugars. But when milk is fermented with yeasts from

the kefir culture, the lactose is changed into lactic acid....no more

sugar and a very healthy food indeed.

Rogene......you made me smile. I think I know I am going to go but will not admit it. My hubby booked a plane flight for us to go back on June 11th. We can change or cancel that if needed but at least we have a flight scheduled........

My ND is very willing to work with me overseas. His daughter actually taught at the school over there for a year. He is going to check with her because she had someone over there she went to and really liked. He said he can work with me via phone and internet. He is SO much more helpful than that lady I went to in Cincy. She was so darn rude and harsh. I thought it was jsut me....well ironically enough I ran into 2 people recently who went to her and she was the same way. I refuse to give her ANY more of my money. I will explain more in detail once I feel better and can get my thoughts together. I still have alot of head congestion and cold left....... However, I think this guy I am seeing will be of great benefit to me. Plus, he is more in my price range.

Yes, I want my 'complete" family together again so bad. It has been a long and hard 14 months so far and by the time we are back together, it will be 23 months apart. It is tough. My youngest son does not even know his dad. That is sad. I think once I get over there, I will like it, it is just the "getting over there" part!!!! I am excited to be a FAMILY again!!!! We have been married for 8 yrs and this was a huge adjustment for all of us. I married him when I was 19!!!!!!!! However, I know my mom will not come over and visit. That is what is hard. My dad will come over but I hate the thought of him doing it by himself. I hope my mom will come around and visit but I doubt that will ever happen. If you think I am bad about airplanes....talk to her :)

How is everything today Rogene???? I read your post where you said not to worry about you...well you know we worry about you....we love you and you are always in our prayers. I know I can speak for everyone on that part. You have helped so many people. I hate to hear of your struggles with the coumadin. I hope the weather is bright where you are today. It does make a difference. We have about 5 inches of snow here again but that makes me happy because there is nothing I would rather do than take me boys out to play in the snow. We have SO much fun doing that and it just makes my day. I just hope it does not make my cold worse....but we gotta go play :)

Much Love,

Beth

Re: Rogene- NEED ADVICE ! !

Beth . . . I know you're going to go - even if you don't. LOL! You're getting your health back. You'll soon be ready to travel. It's obvious you want a whole family . . . You need your husband, he needs you, and your kids need both parents. Your kids are losing precious time with their father. What else is important? Once you get there, you'll know you've been worrying for nothing. Life will be good and your family and friends in the States will still be your family and friends - hoping to share your adventures! Plus, you will have new friends there!People have traveled long distances from friends and family forever. What amazed me when I was attending college was the number of foreign students who left everything and everybody familiar behind to go to school in the States - AND had to learn the language to boot! When I looked at the

photos of the students in the graduate programs, almost all of them were foreign students. I don't think the U.S. students were nearly as motivated to succeed. Now, with the internet, digital video and photography, it's ever so much easier. We'll be here too!BTW, a number of naturopaths work with patients via phone and email. . . You might ask yours if he will continue working with you. You can have lab work done there, and send the results to him. Hugs and prayers,Rogene

Beth,

Hey girl. Just wanted to say my hubby's dad was overseas soon after

he and my mother-in-law got married, they went to Ethiopia. My hubby

wasn't born yet but she had his two older brothers (who were about

your boys ages).

My father-in-law passed away in 2006. But I can tell you that my

mother-in-law always talks about their time overseas. They made so

many great memories (alone but together), away from family. I love

the hear the stories.

I think this is an amazing opportunity. I understand it must be

scary too but I think it will be worth it to have your family

together. Time really does fly and you'll be back here in no time.

Big hugs, Lynn

>

> Rogene......you made me smile. I think I know I am going to go but

will not admit it. My hubby booked a plane flight for us to go back

on June 11th. We can change or cancel that if needed but at least we

have a flight scheduled........

>

> My ND is very willing to work with me overseas. His daughter

actually taught at the school over there for a year. He is going to

check with her because she had someone over there she went to and

really liked. He said he can work with me via phone and internet.

He is SO much more helpful than that lady I went to in Cincy. She

was so darn rude and harsh. I thought it was jsut me....well

ironically enough I ran into 2 people recently who went to her and

she was the same way. I refuse to give her ANY more of my money. I

will explain more in detail once I feel better and can get my

thoughts together. I still have alot of head congestion and cold

left....... However, I think this guy I am seeing will be of great

benefit to me. Plus, he is more in my price range.

>

> Yes, I want my 'complete " family together again so bad. It has

been a long and hard 14 months so far and by the time we are back

together, it will be 23 months apart. It is tough. My youngest son

does not even know his dad. That is sad. I think once I get over

there, I will like it, it is just the " getting over there " part!!!!

I am excited to be a FAMILY again!!!! We have been married for 8 yrs

and this was a huge adjustment for all of us. I married him when I

was 19!!!!!!!! However, I know my mom will not come over and visit.

That is what is hard. My dad will come over but I hate the thought

of him doing it by himself. I hope my mom will come around and visit

but I doubt that will ever happen. If you think I am bad about

airplanes....talk to her :)

>

> How is everything today Rogene???? I read your post where you

said not to worry about you...well you know we worry about you....we

love you and you are always in our prayers. I know I can speak for

everyone on that part. You have helped so many people. I hate to

hear of your struggles with the coumadin. I hope the weather is

bright where you are today. It does make a difference. We have

about 5 inches of snow here again but that makes me happy because

there is nothing I would rather do than take me boys out to play in

the snow. We have SO much fun doing that and it just makes my day.

I just hope it does not make my cold worse....but we gotta go play :)

Wow Beth! . . . five inches of snow. . .

If you get it one day, we usually get something the next! . . . We haven't been here for a snow in several years! . . . This time I'll take a bunch of pictures if we get snow!

You really are getting all your ducks in a row to go! . . . I bet your hubby is on cloud nine! . . . Twenty three months is a lifetime when you have a small child you can't see! . . . Can you imagine how you would feel if he was the one with the kids, and YOU were away? . . .

Get your mom set up with a webcam so you and the kids can see and talk to her . . . And, don't be surprised if she gets over her fear of flying because she wants to see her "little" girl and grandkids!

I had a good day . . . First a massage . . . then we looked at new cars. Hubby wants to replace mine, I want to replace his . . . So we'll replace his, and I'll drive it! . . . Does that make sense? . . . Does to me . . . My old car can be our backup.

Hugs,

Rogene
