dangers of gastric bypass surgery -- dangers that surgeons who perform such procedures hardly ever reveal to their patients Gastric bypass surgery is rapidly gaining in popularity, and it's marketed to customers as an effortless solution to losing weight. The idea is seductive: after the surgery, you'll automatically lose weight, without even trying. But in reality, gastric bypass surgery is a house of horrors.

First, it's a barbaric procedure that maims patients for life. You can never go back to having a normal digestive system after undergoing gastric bypass surgery. Even more frightening, studies show that patients are just as unhealthy following the procedure as they were before it, even when they lose weight. That's because bypassing your stomach doesn't make you a healthy person, even if it does force you to eat less. To be healthy, you have to avoid eating processed foods and start supplementing your diet with vitamins, minerals, healing herbs, healing foods and superfoods. Plus, you have to engage in regular physical exercise. There are no shortcuts. Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.

It is Neulasta, made for chemo patients

for when the chemo knocks down their

white cells too low, it is suposed to make

their bodies make new ones in the bone

marrow. There are lots of other ingredients

in it, but those two are the main ones.

Isnt that gross? The price range for each

injection is between 5 and 7 thousand dollars !

I tell ya, I keep using it to keep Dad laughing.

It is amazing what all funnies you can come up

with useing.....poo.....

This is an actual excerpt from the info on neulasta:

It raises the white blood cell count which in turn keeps you on your chemotherapy schedule. Although the scientific reasoning behind it is indeed confusing, all you need to know is that it works and will be there for you during this incredibly trying process.

So, sounds it is all done for money... what I put in red......is in my opinion

the company saying you dont need to know more, cuz shit is shit......we just

charge 5-7 thousand for ours......

It actually says also in their literature that since you have cancer and are having

chemo to get your family to all pitch in to pay for the neulasta cuz the insurance doesnt always pay for it, or not all of it........

well, here it is......: You can also contact family members who may be able to “chip in†to help you buy your dosage. Although it is inconvenient to be in a situation such as this, they will want to help you in your time of need.

Isnt this a big bunch of crap?? the company can pay it forward and give a shit for free ! ! I mean a shit shot......

I think it is horrible what this country does to the elderly, disabled, ill, and the homeless......

I vote GOD for president.......

That's what makes it all so frustrating. I have know her for years

and she use to exercise once a night and watched what she ate and

she was doing great. Her whole family has weight issues but she was

maintaining. She stopped exercising, started all of these different

fad diets which made her gain more weight when she went off of them,

she was layed off from her job in June and has not even attempted to

find another job, gets up about 9am takes 2 hour nap about noon eats

throughout the day and then gets a cheesesteak or other fast food

item for dinner about 9 or 10 at night then goes to bed. A blind man

could see what the problem here is yet she thinks bypass is her only

option at this point. Now seriously i lover her to death but I just

want to smack some sense in to her.

It really is amusing to think of what they charge for something that

we do on a daily basis and costs nothing at all! Whatever it takes

to keep the smiles coming!

Hello Rogene ~

Been thinking about you and your ear.

How are you feeling?

Dad is ok, he has dysphagia badly and

throws up from it cuz the spasms are so

strong. He isnt nausiated or anything,

He is feeling lots of weird things, but

is ok. I have been spending time with him

just being .

Yes, that Neulasta is pathetic........I hope

he doesnt have to have any more of it.

I think the whole company and all is just bunk

and they are robbing the ill blind.

God Bless us all........

I hope you feel better, Love you ~jDedeStart the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.

Wow Dede,

The sound of greed comes through Neulasta's information, loud and clear!

How is your father doing today?

I got to experience the glories of our health care up front and personal in the last couple days . . . It stinks!

Love,

Rogene

Thanks Dede,

I'm doing fine - really. . . There was a reason this happened . . . And that reason has been addressed. . . I'm not sure what it was.

The EM nurse read the the riot act because I had been taking Coumadin, supposedly without a need. . . After they figured it out, I told her "it wasn't such a bad idea . . .was it?" . . She just smiled real big.

She was also upset because I didn't seem scared . . . I figured the time for being scared was before I got to the hospital - and I didn't know enough to be scared then! . . . After I was DX'd, the danger had passed . . . So why worry?

I hate it that your dad is having to take such awful stuff! . . . I can't imagine how much determination it takes for him to face the treatments, knowing he's going to be sicker afterwards.

I'm praying these toxins do their job and your dad gets his health back ASAP!

Hugs,

Rogene
