Hi everyone,

My name is , I will try my hardest to keep this short although that's

normally not possible for me!

I have two boys, ages 3 and almost 6. My 6 year old was diagnosed with Pdd-nos

when he was 3. My husband is in the Army and we are currently stationed in

land. We are both from South Florida and are desperately missing the

sunshine right now. My husband is considering volunteering for recruiting duty,

which would quite possibly bring us home for 3 years.

We have visited several times within the last couple of years, but have not

lived down there since our oldest was a baby. I would love some information on

how the services for Autism are in South Florida. I am home-schooling my son

here, and he is receiving speech and OT each 3 times a week and ABA twice a week

here.

I would need to find therapists in the area of Pembroke

Pines-Davie-Weston-Sunrise, but willing to drive for the right people. Also, I

need to know if anyone knows which therapists accept Tricare. (I know that's a

long shot...but maybe someone knows?)

Anyways, that's what brought me to the group in a nut shell.

I would start at contacting the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, you can ask to speak to Roselione, but I am sure anyone will be able to assist you.
