Dear a,

I'm so happy to hear that everything turned out so well and that you

were able to tell the nurses about our group! Hopefully their

knowledge about the group will help more women find answers to their

needs. So sad that someone else was just getting implants. I wish

we could reach them before they make such an unfortunate mistake.

You just take it easy and rest up! But thanks for coming to the

group and letting us know how well everything went. We knew Dr.

Huang would take good care of you. Now you are on your way to

healing!

God bless,

Patty

a,

Sounds like you are doing very well for just having surgery.

I will be back in Colorado by noon on Friday. I am in Hawaii with my sister.

Just rest and take care of yourself, drink lots of pure water.

I had one breast that hurt more than the other

and I wanted to karate chop it off.

The doctor said this was from her scraping and muscle

repair needed more than the other one. So more

work was done on one breast than the other.

No need to alarm....just one boobie needed more

attention than the other. DWAI....

dont worry about it.

Now your breast are perfecto

a- Yeah! So happy to hear that the surgery is behind you and you

can start the healing process!

That is so cool that you got the oppurtunity to tell the nurses about

this group and why you were having your implants removed. When I had

my explant (this was at a different hospital then where you had your

explant,) all of the nurses were asking me why I was explanting and

when I told them, they all gave me funny looks. I just

thought...well, at least I planted the seed even if they didn't

believe me.

Yeah, it is sad to think that for each one of us that

explants...there are many more implanting. For every one woman who

joins this group, 10 more join a " pro-implant group. " I guess it is

only human nature to have to learn for yourself about dangers in

life. Sort of when you are a toddler and your mom tells you not to

touch the hot fire place, but you do it anyway because you have to

learn for yourself that it is dangerous. I think it is the same with

implants, we can tell women until we're blue in the face that they

are dangerous, but they still have to learn for themselves.

Oh...sigh....

Anyway, I'm allergic to pain medications too, so I just took the

tylenol post-op and that was fine for me. Once those drains come out,

you'll start feeling MUCH better!

Okay, well it sounds like I'll be seeing you on Saturday! I can't

wait!!!

Hi a,

I am so glad to hear that you are on your way to recovery and

everything went well. Did they say why your right breast hurts so much

more then your left? Didi you have a previous problem with that one? I

will be praying for your recovery as well as getting those drains out

on Friday :). I'm sure you cant wait.

a,

This is such wonderful news!! I was thinking of you and praying for

you. I knew you'd just love Dr. Huang, she is such a sweetheart - so

caring.

If you don't get the drains out, I will be able to come to Denver

this weekend but it won't be until after 12:00 on Saturday (sorry, I

have a doctor's appt).

Rest up missy! I am happy your hubby is taking such good care of you.
