Wow Patty,

You sure do have a lot of books...thanks for the recommendations. I think I am

going to get them all next week. I really think reading up on this stuff will be wise

for me down the road. And I am never too old to learn

or too damaged to learn. Thank God for healing today

and everyday. I feel so much better with those capsules

out like never before ....yeh I am fighting candida but It

was much worse of fighting with the capsules in and I

have no more brain fog after 3 years this is great. A lot

of my systoms were really bad along with suicide with

the capsules in. My systoms are so minimal now after

2 weeks of surgery that I have to keep taking a second

look at myself. HAHAHAHAHAHa

Love

That is so awesome. I know relief from the brain fog itself is so

welcome! It was my worst symptom!

kathy,

This is what every member and moderator waits to hear. I had revision surgery in

2006. It was mostly successful, I have fought with a bit of nueropathy over the

last 4 years due to surgery but have healed quite well. I am still a little

crooked and lean a bit forward when tired but all and all, I am in a much better

place than before. The reason I keep coming back to the site is like you, before

revision, it was a lifeline. After revision going through recovery, it was again

a huge lifeline while wrestling with recovery, drugs and lack of emotional

support to the level I needed, this group was there for me. I guess that is why

I stay. It is the circle of life. I try to give back to the group what it gave

to me. What I am trying to say is it is satisfying to hear that it is worth it.

Take care, 7 months can be forever I know but thank God it is only 7 months.

> When Cam posted that she had read my story, I don't know why...but it kind of

suprised me. It shouldn't have. I guess I'm so used to people just staring at

me & half-assed listening to my lenthy story, that I get a little taken-a-back

when someone shows interest. When I joined this group last Christmas, I was

borderline suicidal and only had scant information about my flatback condition.

All I had was my disfiguring condition & my dogs...neither of which are much for

conversation. This group has given me so much invaluable information. Reading

everyone's posts and looking at their before & after pictures, restored my hope.

I can't thank you all enough for me being able to find a qualified surgeon.

This group has made my last year and 3 months of waiting for Medicare (7 months

left) bareable. It's been the longest & hardest wait of my life. I just wanted

everyone in the group know how much I appreciated your interaction. It helps me

stay plugged into the human race instead of rotting in front of the TV. Thanks

again.....Kathy
