Rogene, this is great. When the doctors put me on Combivent, it caused my heart to become inlarged, and my pulmonary specialist told me that he had an article proving that this drug could cause heart problems...peer-reviewed. We still have it somewhere.

Feb. 19, 2008 Las Vegas Review-Journal Judge slashes $134 million judgment to Nevada women in Wyeth case

RENO, Nev. (AP) -- A judge has slashed a $134 million judgment awarded by a jury to three Nevada women who claimed that a drug made by the pharmaceutical company Wyeth caused their breast cancer.

Washoe County District Court Judge granted the drugmaker's motion to find the damages excessive. He ordered them reduced to about $58 million total -- $23 million in compensatory and $35 million in punitive damages.

The judgment had been the largest award to date against the Madison, N.J.-based company, which faces about 5,300 similar lawsuits across the country in state and federal courts.
