Guest guest
Hi Patty, Wow, you have given me an eye opener! I really never dreamed it would take so long. I admire you!! How long did you have your implants and were they saline? I have a question, this summer I would like to be able to go out to dinner with friends or even on a date, is it ok to " go off the diet " once in a while? I am really wanting to try dating again however going out to eat is out of the question right now but would like be able to in the future. Or do I have to continue to be strict? I have been alone for along time now and have had to deal with this illness alone, I would love to meet someone but I feel those dang implants have ruined me for years. This is not an easy situation to explain to a man. Thanks Patty, I really appreciate your advice! Hugs, Cherie > > > > Hi Patty, > > > > Thanks! Guest guest
Cherie, The crazy thing was that I only had my saline implants for 9 months. But it took me 4 years to get better. How is that for payback?!? As for going off your diet, yes, you can. I certainly did. My parents come every winter and we usually end up going out to eat at the Paris buffet here in Vegas, or Claim Jumpers. You just have to know what you need to avoid if you are gluten intolerant, but even then there were times when I just wanted to join in the fun and ate the cakes and goodies like everyone else. It's all up to how you feel, and how much you want to compromise. You may find that you can cheat and get away with it, but I wouldn't make a practice of it, as you will end up with alot of old, bad habits. You will find a man someday, and if it's like most women I know, it will come at a time when you aren't really even looking for it! That's what happened when I met my husband, and all I can say is that he was, and is, God's blessing! Trust God and things will happen in His time for you too Cherie! Guest guest
Hi Patty, I am amazed that you only had your implant 9 months. That's an unfair payback my dear! I am so sorry that this happened to you and the length of time to recover was sooo long. I am very inspired to hear though that you did get better...THAT'S GREAT and I am very happy for you! Glad to hear I can go out and eat when something does come up. I have been beginning to feel quite isolated. I keep hearing that to help when you are down and depressed, do things that you like to do. However, I like to get together with my best friend and go to dinner and have a glass of wine and enjoy girl talk but cannot do that for a while. I would like to try and date but that's out right now too. Life has become a bit mundane, work, work at home, taking care of my daughter, cooking, chores.....need some fun. Now that my ND is dealing with my hormones.....I'm REALLY wacked out right now. Everything makes me cry and my outlook comes and go. At least I realize that this will pass. I am waiting on God, hopefully soon I will have a breakthrough. Thanks Patty! Hugs, Cherie I > > > > > > > > Hi Patty, > > > > > > > > Thanks!
