Guest guest
Hi Steph, Yes, my cortisol was sky high but it's come down since explant. I was rechecked at 7 months post explant and my cortisol was just slightly higher than normal so I was put on Seraphos (phosphorilated serine) to lower it. I was also put on DHEA and pregnenelone to balance the adrenals. Hang in there. It just takes time. Love, PH In , " stephie0580 " <stephie0580@...> wrote: > > PH, Were your cortisol levels high? Guest guest
Why is it that I've been checked NUMEROUS times showing that my cortisol levels are almost double, and I've been put on NOTHING???? They did an catskan to see if i had a tumor on my adrenals, then an MRI to see if i had a tumor on my pituitary. All negative. Then they said they were confused and didn't know WHAT to do. They gave me NOTHING and sent me home!!! - On 1/11/08, perfecthealth68 <perfecthealth68@...> wrote: Hi Steph,Yes, my cortisol was sky high but it's come down since explant. Guest guest
Gosh, the list is way too long to list... However, my symptoms that bother me the most are: I feel shaky ALL of the time... Like my blood sugar is low or something, but it's not. I feel like I've had an overdose of caffeine, but don't feel awake. Just shaky and short of breath. Sometimes it's hard to get a " good breath " if you know what I mean. I also feel like I have excessive anxiety... I get nervous for no reason at all... almost like constant panic attacks. It feels like my body is producing REALLY high levels of adrenaline. I can't have ANY caffeine, or I black out. I also get light headed and dizzy at times... but not as often as the rest. (I've been explanted for 1 yr. and 8 months). - On 1/11/08, stephie0580 <stephie0580@...> wrote: Hi , I've only been explanted for 2 months. Guest guest
Hi Steph, I take 1 capsule (355 mg) at dinner and another before bedtime. It's Seraphos by T.E. Neesby. I've been taking it for 2 months. Your ND may recommend a different dosage based on your test results so talk with him first before taking anything! Guest guest
Did your dr do a cat scan and a mri because of the dizziness? My dr didn't order one for me but maybe it's because I have different symptoms. Steph > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
Steph, I had an MRI because I had MS-like symptoms...vision loss, numbness in the extremities and confusion/memory loss. The MRI turned out normal. As far as the dizziness, that can be due from multiple sources: candida, thyroid, heavy metals, adrenals, toxins, etc. I still experience the dizziness but from what I've read it'll eventually go away w/ detox and getting the hormones balanced. Guest guest
Hi Steph, No, 355 mg is two capsules. I got it from Mercola's office. I looked online and found this http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp;jsessionid =O2JWYVWEH5ZJMCQUC4WVAFQKCQL1AUNE?id=TN-1019 but the label is slightly different than mine as far as amount per serving...same exact brand though. I'd look for the exact one I have for you, but I have to go pick up my youngest from school! Love, PH > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone.
Guest guest
I'm glad it came back normal. My dr said since I don't have symptoms like the facial numbness and pain he doesn't think an MRI is needed now. I'm just worried because my cortisol is raised. Guest guest
Have you seen an ND? I'm currently seeing one. He's the one that had me do the hormone testing and is treating me. Guest guest
Hi Katy! Mine's the exact same way! If I'm nervous or stressed... or even over tired my symptoms are much more severe. The only tests I've had done are from the Endocrinologist... who SAYS everything is normal (Minus my cortisol levels). At first I thought it was my blood sugar / anxiety, too. Every doctor that I see wants to see me again after the baby is born (21 days to go!) Yay! - On 1/13/08, katy mclean <thesuddendeparture@...> wrote: Hi rachel,I experience the exact thing you are descibing. Forme, it comes and goes, but is worse at times of stressand when I am overtired. I have not found anything tohelp and so far have chalked it up to anxiety and blood sugar type stuff. Have you had any tests done?Katy:) --- Hackett <resultsbyrachel@...> wrote: > Gosh, the list is way too long to list...> However, my symptoms that bother me the most are:> > I feel shaky ALL of the time...
