Guest guest
Hi Katy! Mine's the exact same way! If I'm nervous or stressed... or even over tired my symptoms are much more severe. The only tests I've had done are from the Endocrinologist... who SAYS everything is normal (Minus my cortisol levels). At first I thought it was my blood sugar / anxiety, too. Every doctor that I see wants to see me again after the baby is born (21 days to go!) Yay! - On 1/13/08, katy mclean <thesuddendeparture@...> wrote: Hi rachel,I experience the exact thing you are descibing. Forme, it comes and goes, but is worse at times of stressand when I am overtired. I have not found anything tohelp and so far have chalked it up to anxiety and blood sugar type stuff. Have you had any tests done?Katy:) --- Hackett <resultsbyrachel@...> wrote: > Gosh, the list is way too long to list...> However, my symptoms that bother me the most are:> > I feel shaky ALL of the time... Guest guest
, Please keep track of that information I posted about the hormones and the association with autoimmune disease, especially if you start to experience more symptoms after the pregnancy settles down. I'm very excited for you! Good job MOM! That baby is going to be here soon! Guest guest
et al, I had very high cortisol levels while I had implants. It was the only test result that showed anything, but my doctor just chalked it up to stress and didn't investigate further, and I didn't know enough yet about the adrenals to pick up on the clue. Boy, I wish I had. I had all those high-cortisol symptoms-- weird jittery feeling, panic attacks, heart palpitations, brain fog, blurry vision, vertigo. . . After explant, my symptoms shifted-- the jitters, panic attacks, palpitations and vertigo lessened or went away, and instead I experienced intense fatigue and muscle aches. At 1 1/2 years post- explant, I had the full Diagnos-Tech hormone panel recommended by Patty, which showed an extremely low cortisol level in the morning, pointing to adrenal exhaustion. I started on Isocort, which is an adrenal extract supplement. AT first it made me feel those high cortisol level symptoms again, but my body got used to it. In addition to Isocort, I take ashwaganda, an ayurvedic herb good for adrenals, as well as rhodiola rosea and maca, also good adrenal tonics. I am planning to start on cordyceps, a medicinal mushroom also good for adrenals. I am much better on this protocol, though I am not out of the woods. I still must be careful about my stress level, but I can live a pretty normal life. I am looking into taking some sensitive virus tests just to cross those off the list, but I am convinced, like Patty, that hormones are key in recovering from implant assault. Guest guest
Hi Bindi, I just had all of my hormones tested and my cortisol is very high. I've only been explanted for 2 months. I'm also on a low dose of armour thyroid. Did you have any problems with your hair? Steph > > Steph, > I didn't get it tested until about 2 years post explant, so I am not totally sure, but if I were to guess, I would say that my adrenals started to go into an exhausted state soon after explant, because my my symptoms changed to fit the adrenal exhaustion scenario. > Bindi >
