Wow, I am almost without words....I am so sorry

for the loss and pain you and Beverly share.

How devastating for everyone.

You know, I have 2 near death experiences, with

the last one being this past July. I was actually

gone 9 min 58 seconds. Where I went was the most

wonderful place, and the feeling there, is the biggest

feeling of love you could ever even think of imagineing

then multiply that by a million. My belief is that you

dont die, but that you are born into heaven.

We all feel such a loss and empty spot here for those

that leave us and go to heaven, but it IS magnificent

there ! ! and we can trust that our loved ones are very

happy there and very much alive and full of love.

God Bless YOU and Beverly and the families

for your loss, and all the pain you feel.

Oh Jill,

I'm so sorry . . . Such a terrible shock for everyone. I don't know what to say.

One can only wonder what happened. . . I'm afraid no one will ever know . . . and that not knowing will make things even more difficult.

I don't know how you feel about God . . . The sermon at our church today was "Why Do Bad Things Happen?" . . . You may want to listen to it: http://www.cohumc.com/s38.htm . . . It's a question that no one can really answer though.

I pray that you and Butch's family will find peace.

God Bless,

Rogene

Re: My heart is broken....

Today was my mom's birthday. She would have been 62. It's always been a rough day for me. This year I decided to approach this day differently and celebrate instead of morn.My next door neighbors are very close friends of ours. Beverly arranged for a surprise b-day party for her husband, Butch, today. We were really looking foward to it! I could celebrate my mom's and Butch's b-day.The party was in a restaurant right on the lake. They just bought a beautiful new boat and were going to show up to the party on their boat. They were so proud of it and Bev knew he would love to show it off to everyone.Everyone showed up to the restaurant at noon. Bev and Butch were running late. At 1:30 I called Bev's cell to make sure all was well. They had spent the night on their boat and when she woke up he was gone. He had been feeling ill and the last time anyone saw him was 1 a.m.We

rushed over to the marina And joined the search party. At 4 p.m. the police brought in divers. At 5 p.m. they recovered Butch's body from the water.Butch and Beverly are one of the kindest and sincere people I have ever met. They have been blissfully married for over 20 years. They were always smiling and enjoyed life. We have lost someone who brought so much to the world and were left with a wife that has been destroyed.I feel like I'm going to be swallowed up by sadness.....Jill

Oh, Jill,

This is tragic! Such a shock of sadness....I wish there was a way to

make this kind of pain stop and never happen...it is never easy!

Please know that I am praying for you and for the family of this man,

for comfort, for a touch from heaven that will give peace and closure

to this horrible event. Somtimes there are never satisfactory

answers to the question, " WHY? " It seems so unfair.

Grieve...and then trust. You can't let this spiral you down further.

Death is a part of our lives that will never disappear. We just

learn to cope with it in as healthy a manner as we can. YOu are in a

particularly vulnerable position with your health. Hang on, dear one.

Hang on. We're here for you.

Hugs,

Patty
