Guest guest
Sandy, I feel any surgery you have is dangerous. But if he needs it then he needs it. Just pray everything goes fine. And God will make sure it does. I am sorry to here that about your teeth but I guess you can look at the positive end .... YOU will never get a cavity. That is sad that you never had dental care. I guess I now look at that as a blessing. My dad pulled all his teeth out on his own with pliers to save money. I am not saying to do that but the moral of the story he finally got fitted for false teeth and he dont wear them. He says he just wasted his money. I never really noticed that he didn't have teeth because his gums dont sink in like most peoples would. In a message dated 1/18/2008 6:33:16 P.M. My son has has a large overbite Is this surgery dangerous ? The dentists and ortho's tell me my son should have this surgery where they will break his jaw and bring his mouth together My sons mouth is visually way off center He really needs this surgery Sandy~ Sandy, I went to a regular dentist to get some of my fillings out I still have 4 left. I have been getting 2 out per year. My nutristionist gave me some stuff I do not know what it was called to take before getting the fillings out. All I know it was for so the mercury would not absorb into my system. Maybe , you can check into something like that so you don't have to get rid of your teeth. Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.

Guest guest
Sandy, Our had that surgery done a few years ago. He handled it fine, although any surgery has risks. Anyway one might want to consider, that we didn't know then are the metal screws they put in the jaw. has about 4 or 5 of them. I have one in my foot and it hurts bad. Another problem we have found is the military, wants to join and they are giving us a hard time because they feel this surgery has put him a greater risk for an injury. We are in the process of trying to get his doctor to prove he is ok for military duty. Good luck on your decision.dusty.com@... wrote: , There are no choices I have to get false teeth My wealthy parents never provided me dental care as a child I have about four teeth that are gone in the front top row When I was old enough to get a job I had dental care on my own. Guest guest
If anyone can get to Yuma, Arizona, they can go across the border to Mexico where they can get dental work, eye glasses and hearing aids for far less than the going rate in the states. Guest guest
Just a note . . . It's hard on the digestive system when one doesn't have teeth to chew food properly. . . Digestion begins in the mouth with the chewing process. Rogene
