Guest guest
Lynda and Rogene, I have not been able to keep up with all the posts but I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear how hard things have been for both of you. You both have been so constant and supportive and have done so much for everyone here, and your courage to face down cancer is amazing. I am posting a Giant Request on the Great Message Board in the Sky, to ask that the Big Moderator makes sure you both get Well, ASAP. Sending a gazillion healing wishes your way. . . Guest guest
Thanks, Bindi, Going for second chemo tomorrow. Having trouble with anxiety with this. Had another thoracentesis today (drained the fluid out of the pleural cavity). Keep the prayers coming. I am sure Rogene appreciates them as much as I do. Guest guest
Thanks Ladies,My spirits lifted immensely today after a CT scan to see if there was any lung or lymph node involvement . . . There was none . . . And, the doctor said that if the bone he removes doesn't have any penetration of cancer cells, I won't have to have radiation therapy. Professional opinions are all over the place on radiation . . . Nobody knows if it will prevent a further occurrence in the first place. Surgery is scheduled for Friday morning. If I wasn't on blood thinners, he would consider sending me home the next day . . . as it is, I'll have to stay until my clotting time is acceptable. The bad news is that he gives the worst hair cuts ever! . . . My head will be shaved behind my ear almost to the top of my scalp! Thanks for your prayers. They're working! . . . Guest guest
Rogene, Just shave it all off and start over if the rest won't cover it. It would be easier. I pray that it is not in the bone! We don't need two of us with that kind of cancer. Guest guest
Girls, I just checked my vitamins and it has Spirulina in it. This could be causing my brain fog. My vitamin C has silicon Dioxide in it too. Should I be concerned? I am really feeling losy today and I dont know what I am doing wrong., Please someone question me what I am doing? I am only able to hold my coffee enemas in for 5 minutes and have a lot of floaties. I am very shakey....... In a message dated 3/4/2008 7:36:49 A.M. So you get to buy some wigs or what??? I'd have a blast with that! Or are you going to be brave and run around with a mohawk? If you do, I want pictures!!! Guest guest
Oh Lordy . . . No wigs. My head is significantly larger than average. . . I tried wearing a wig then they were in style years ago. . . Talk about a giant headache! . . . I won't even consider one again. I'll find some little hats that cover the ugly areas. . . My hair grows fast, so the evidence should be hidden soon.I think this surgery will be just in the nick of time pain-wise. I woke up with pain last night. A first.Hugs,Rogene
Guest guest
Rogene, Fortune is smiling on you. At least I am believing that...I hope you remain pain free until your surgery is over and that you heal very quickly. I'll be thinking of you and on Friday. Hugs, Patty > > Oh Lordy . . . No wigs. Guest guest
, Dr. Kolb says to avoid spirulina as it increases inflammation. To me, if you're having trouble holding the enemas for 5 minutes, then your body is telling you it doesn't need that right now. Maybe you could give them a break for a short while...especially since you said you've been doing 2 a day. Also, when you were doing them twice daily were you following them up with juicing to make sure you're not losing too many nutrients? Hang in there . Guest guest
, Dr. Kolb says to avoid spirulina as it increases inflammation. Guest guest
Precious Rogene: Honey, I have a question for you and our Lynda. Did you both have breast cancer, and then reconstruction with silicone breast implants? We know that breast implants can cause cancer in some people. You have both survived breast cancer, and now you both have cancer again. I know that Lynda's cancer is more serious; however, all cancers are serious, and I am concerned that you have it in your ear. Do you think that your silicone breast implants are to blame for your cancer? This might be a good question for Dr. Blais, because he told me that my abscess could turn into cancer if it is not removed. We are so sorry that this has happened to you, but we know that you will get well. This group needs you, because you have been around for a long time. We understand that you need to get well, and that will take work. Please drop in and keep us updated on your condition. We will pray that your surgery will be the cure. You know that you are loved so much...always.......Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Re: Re: Rogene and Lynda Oh Lordy . . .

Guest guest
Lea, I had breast cancer and reconstruction with silicone, which ruptured in 3 1/2 months. Then replaced with another and silicone dumped into my chest without telling me. I had the second one out a year later. Guest guest
Lea,I had augmentation, then explant, before I had breast cancer. I don't know that there's any connection between the two . . . I think it's more likely that genetics, plus environmental toxins are the cause.Lynda's situation was much more serious than mine. She had ruptures. I had slow leaks. Very few implant women I knew when I got into this in 1994 are healthy now. I feel very fortunate to be doing this well! Lynda knows a lot more women . . . Maybe she's kept up with how they're doing. Guest guest
Cathie . . .So good to hear from you! . . . I'm going to be fine. I don't want anyone worrying about me! Things could be much, much worse. It was a horrible shock, and my fear it might be more extensive was horrible. . . But prayers are being answered. Everything is going to be OK with me!Now if we could find a way to fix yours, and everybody else's problems!Love,Rogene
