Guest guest
C, I was wondering how you found out that Walmart is requiring their generic manufacturers to label their products as containing gluten if they do. Is this for all OTC medicines? Have you heard anything about Sams Club brand products as they are not the same as Great Value which is Walmart store brand? I am thrilled if this is the case! Walmart recently started requiring their generic manufacturers to include gluten on the labels, if there. These UPC numbers, etc., were taken from the packages/bottles with the latest expiry dates, which, ostensibly, would mean that they were manufactured most recent.Equate Children's Multivitamins Complete with Iron, Minerals and Calcium (150's): UPC 7003011659, Expiry 4/08, Lot #5FN0123 - clearly lists Gluten. Equate Children's Multivitamins Complete with Iron, Minerals and Calcium (60's): UPC 7003011658, Expiry 9/08, Lot #5JN0774 - clearly lists Gluten. Equate Children's Multivitamins plus Iron (60's): UPC 7003011661, Expiry 9/07, Lot #: 5LN0356 - clearly lists Gluten. Equate Children's Multivitamins with Extra Calcium (60's): UPC 7003011660, Expiry 11/08, Lot #5MN0218 - clearly lists Gluten.C
Guest guest
It was widely reported about six months ago or something like that that Walmart would begin to require their own products to include gluten on the labels. HOWEVER...they were going to use the old packages, etc., first, so it is taking quite a long time for the products to show gluten on the labels. There have been quite a few people who have commented online that they've seen gluten listed, though, so it's slowly working its way in. You'd have to contact them directly if a label doesn't list gluten, just to be sure. C
