Guest guest
I'm so glad to hear you had a good experience with Dr Feng. I am scheduled for ex plant on Friday. We are staying at a Holiday Inn about 10 minutes from her. Are there any decent resteraunts around since we will probably do a majority of eating out. I'm sure your glad to be home. I am only 6 hours away and am not looking forward to the drive but im sure it was well worth it. > > > > Hi Everyone, > > I had to lay really low for a long time, so haven't posted or read > > much on this board. Guest guest
Hi a, Ilena has my implant story already; I will add to it when I am over this " honeymoon " period post-explant, so I can really be of some help! My implants were 350cc saline filled silicone shells. Not textured that I know of. My pathology report,( which I didn't want to pay for, but the state of Ohio requires for any surgery in which something is taken out of you) has not come in yet, so am eager to see what was going on. Dr. Feng also took pictures of my " stuff " and will mail them to me along with the report. I will keep the forum posted as soon as I get the info. Guest guest
Thank you so much for the info Devon. I had a lift when i had the implant put in so i am hoping the surgery wont take that long but who knows. i have no idea how long any of that takes. I'm glad to hear that you are happy with your results. That always makes it so much easier for those who are getting ready to go through the same thing. I will be praying for your speedy recovery but you sound great already. Guest guest
Hi a, I have a quick question for you. I have something going on right now im not sure if it is th start of a cold or allergies. My chest feels fine a little heavy but i swear that is from the implants because i had that feeling way before i got this, no sore throat and i can breath fine but it feels like im talking weird or echoing in my own head. Anyway my question is i am going out for my blood work and everything tomorrow with Dr Feng. I have heard nothing but rave reviews about her but the fact is i don't know her from Adam. If she says im ok to go ahead with surgery even if i have a little congestion left would you trust that everything will be ok just from what you know of her. I had no problems going out there as of last night but now everyone is saying that i cant get anesthetist with congestion and that i could end up with severe respiratory problems after the fact. Ya know, just what i need to hear right now..lol. I just love my support system. I really don't want to cancel this if i don't have to but i don't want to create any further problems as well. I'm thinking that if she is as good a doctor as everyone says she will be upfront with me and say if it should be done or not. At this point i don't know what are real symptoms or what are implants related because i always have something going on since i have had these stupid things out in. What do you think? Hop everything is well with you. Are you feeling ok? Love, > > > , Patty and a, > > Thanks for your kind words; yes, a, I was > > getting pretty sick > > before I got them out, that is how I found this > > site. Guest guest
Hi , I am due out to see Dr Feng at 1:00 tomorrow. I could stop by and give you some face to face support, i don't know if it would help at all but it never hurts to try. I feel so bad that you are going through all of this alone. It is not an easy thing, thats for sure! Let me know. Guest guest
Hi , You'll do fine! I had to take the heavy duty tape and gauze off today, but it's been one week, so it's okay (it got wet in the shower). I still have all the little surgical tapes all over the incisions and they are pretty water-tight, but Dr. Feng had told me that it will be no big deal if they come off, either. I also wanted to mention that you may get blisters around the saran-wrap-like heavy duty tape she uses. I have several. They look the worst of all of it. I am using the brush-on healer called Nu-Skin on them to help them heal without scarring (just the blisters, not the incisions!) Just wanted to let you know in case you get them that it's normal. Prayers for a speedy recovery for you and a poison-free body in your future, girl. PS - Make water, water, water, Arnica pills, water, bromelian and more water, water, water your mantra for the next two weeks at least! Hugs, Devon > > > > , Patty and a, > > Thanks for your kind words; yes, a, I was getting pretty sick > > before I got them out, that is how I found this site. I have to stop listening to my overprotective mom who thinks a sneeze means i have a respiratory infection and leave this all up to Dr Feng. Im sure she will not do anything that would put me in harms way. I have basically just left it to God at this point. If it was meant to be i will have the sugery. Take care of yourself and make sure you get rest.I just hope that i can be as helpful and supportive to other women on this site as you have been to me.
