Guest guest
Hi Nan, Yes it sounds similar to what I have. I understand the lack of oxygen I have been saying this for ages to my Dr It feels like oxygen doesn’t get to my brain!! When I get attacks like this I do not get pain but I shake like mad, have to lie down cannot sit up as everything kind of goes backwards and I fall luckily it doesn’t last for more than a few hours, then its gone and I feel almost normal it kind of releases something?? My neck and shoulders are also so very painful it’s unbelievable, I see an osteopath every Friday for massage or he cracks my neck and back. The naturopath I have seen told me its chronic fatigue but like you I doubt it as its too extreme, I tried oxygen therapy a few times you have a canular up your nose and breathe in oxygen in its triple or double state I cannot remember, it did work and the dizziness and neck pain went and I could see things really clearly…my vision is awful. The next few times I went it was not so effective because I was told I needed longer on the machine than I was having, but I could not afford it and certainly cannot afford to buy one, they are about £4000.00. The other thing is I found the journey very difficult when you are dizzy 100% of the time going out is NO fun. I can relate to the diet I am back on it very strict and the weight is falling off me AGAIN, my leg muscles kill me even waking me in the night. I don’t think its anxiety it happens with no rhyme or reason, the heart goes mental for a few mins then it’s almost like it needed it to get it back to normal? Does your brain feel like it moves/wobbles/bangs/shakes at times inside your head? mine does…The reason I no longer tell my Dr anything is its so hard to explain. The weird thing is I CAN HAVE A FEW DAYS WHERE I feel almost normal and think it’s gone only for it to return. I wonder if you could try the oxygen therapy, I know Rogene said they have a similar thing at her Drs surgery, it may well help. How is your vision? I find it difficult to prepare meals too like I said the dizziness totally dominates my life I rarely do anything anymore. I should have had a mammogram but cannot face being out for long so have cancelled it three times, I should be going back tomorrow but I know I will cancel again. I have said this many times on here but I feel like everything is coming from my head and not in a mental way but is REAL. I WISH I COULD TAKE THIS HEAD OFF AND PUT another one on, can you understand that? I THINK WE SOUND PRETTY SIMILAR, maybe we can try things together??? I find it really difficult to take in information, if I have to read something that’s long it kind of over powers me and I cannot face it, I need things explained in simple terms that I can in. Lets try to get this worked out between us, I am tired of living a half life…existing really. Hang in there Nan. They started out like complete fatigue and I would pass out for days. That is gone. Now I get where I almost feel like there is no oxygen in my head like I am being strangled, I start to feel a lot of pain, any movement or noise is painful, and I just have to go to bed and wait it out for days until it passes. I don't sleep, it is just like lying there feeling like death. Then I can barely walk for weeks, I can't speak right, it is so scary. Then I start to recover and after a few months I notice I can go out and walk around at a normal level. I can still barely hold my head up for long. I have a ton of " tender " spots I have found on my neck and shoulders, but are more like severely painful spots! I do not stay in bed much anymore, I have been able to get up. But I am very careful about my activity. Seems sort of extreme for fibromyalgia. Does that sound at all familiar? I am so frustrated by not knowing what it is. And the doctors have all said they have never heard anything like it. My MRI is tomorrow, it was sch for today and they messed up. The neuro said it sounds like MS attacks, but even he said he is not sure. And I am really not describing what I have read about MS. I also have an appt with the environmental medicine center next week which is very pricey, but they say they treat women with implant illness, so I will let you all know what they say. My husband is driving me crazy trying to get me to go to the mayo clinic to try to get someone to figure it out. Several doctors said fibro, several said it is not. I totally went off the diet and back on sugar so I could gain some weight. I feel like crap, but don't even have the energy to go out and get fresh food. And I did finally gain some weight back. I forgot the rashes! I have had outbreak after outbreak, all over my neck and jawline, the neuro said he has no idea what it is. Another trip to another doctor is just too much. I am going to PT twice a week, and all the other stuff, it is just ridiculous. On the better side, I have been able to walk a lot more, stretch a bit, have more mental clarity, and the best is not having to stay in bed for days. I had a slight attack a few days ago but caught it in time so I was able to minimize it. ANY body have any attacks like this? And Sue, yes mine at one point were like panic attacks with bad heart beating and such, but most of the doctors said it is not anxiety or panic (and I just had very bad anxiety at my last MRI and it is nothing like what these attacks are so I am pretty confident it is not that). Sorry so long! Love Nan

Guest guest
Sue, Do you have anything like ebay in England? . . . Maybe you could find one of the oxygen machines through it. . . I can't believe the machines should cost so much! I think is thinking clearly now. Maybe she can help you find one that's affordable. Be sure to eat plenty of healthy oils . . . Almonds are advocados were mentioned . . . Coconut oil is good too. .. All the fungal stuff has it's own weight, so you can expect to lose some weight initially . . . but it should come back when you start putting healthy organisms back in your body. . . It's not just about eliminating foods, it's about eating healthy ones too . . . Look for calorie packed foods like nuts!. . . Do you have pecans there? . . . They are incredible after being roasted for just a bit. Love, Rogene

Guest guest
Hi Rogene, Yes we do have ebay but they don’t sell them over here (foot baths) I have not looked at the machines or if they sell them on ebay I will though. We do have pecans but I thought I could not eat nuts on the candida diet?? Thanks Sue From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of saxony01 Sent: 08 January 2008 14:37 Subject: Re: About the attacks nan Sue, Do you have anything like ebay in England? .. . . Guest guest
Sue, I would avoid peanuts - and possibly pistachio's - altogether. . . The problem is mold. I haven't seen anything on pistachios having a mold problem . . . but I question some I've seen. Roasting nuts for a bit should help kill off any mold spores. However, when you need calories and protein, I can't see anything wrong with nuts . . . Sugar and refined grains are the major problems . . . As long as you stay away from those, you should be able to eat nuts in moderation . . . Almonds are especially good . . . One friend swears that seven almonds a day keeps her healthy. She's in her mid seventies and doing great! I'm wondering if someone might try to sell an oxygen device that they bought but don't want anymore through your ebay . . . If so, you might find a very good price - but you would have to watch it regularly. . . We also have www.craigslist.com here . . . It's like ebay, but there's no charge for listing things. I've heard it's going world-wide. . . It's really intended for people to personally pick up whatever they buy- so finding something here wouldn't be acceptable . . . especially since the wiring requirements are different.
