Hi Patty,

I saw in previous posts that you took 100 mg DMSA for 30 days a couple

times, took some time off and then tried it again following Cutler's

protocol. The third time you did it, did you still stay at 100 mg?

I'm only doing 12.5 mg but will increase tomorrow. I've only been

chelating a month and somewhat inconsistently due to side effects. My

question is how did you know it was time to implement ALA? I know the

body burden should be reduced before beginning the ALA and Andy

suggests that it be reduced by 80% in the urine, yet that contradicts

what he says about doing a urine challenge...he advises against them in

another section of his book. Did you take a measurement before

beginning ALA or just wing it? It's scary not knowing when it's safe

to to start ALA because I don't want redistribution into the brain.

Since most people on the chelation forum are at the same place I'm at,

I wanted to ask someone who's recovered. Thanks! Love, PH
