Guest guest
Hi all,Can anyone give me any idea of how/why a child (10 year old, ASD) who has never had self-injurious tendencies, almost overnight, starts biting himself. It is not serious as yet but I want to nip it in the bud if I can (like so many new behaviors in the past that have come and gone) I have also noticed lately that he is overly sensitive to minor scratches and bruises, again something new. Before now he had a very high pain threshold. It seems to me that these two things could be related. One thing I will always say is, " Autism is NEVER boring! " Any help, as always, greatly appreciated.Thanks.Caroline
