Bonjour Jessy,

From your post, I think you mean an external bile drain tube that

was put in to hang out of the belly? If so, eight days is a long

time for pain after it was removed. She should have it checked -

possibly the wound is infected? When I had mine out, it only took

about three days to have it scab over completely, and by day then, I

had no major pain.

Hello/Bonjour All, a tous,

Following my last post in the group.

is saying that the place was the tube

was put in her stomach that aching now and she

is not able to sleep.

Could the sphincter of oddi be inflammed after

the removal of the bile tube 8 days after

surgery.
