Guest guest
Hi , my name is . I'll be 32 in July. I have had my implants for 6 years and have experienced many symptoms for a long time but never considered my implants to be the source of my problems. I came upon this website and many of the blogs helped me to make the right decision. I have always been very health concious so with all the risks involved now or later I knew reguarless they had to come out. A few girls told me about Dr Kolb. My consult was Jan 9. She gave me the same eye test to confirm mold and put me on meds for that and also determined that I had hypothyroidism so she put me on meds for that as well. My pre op is March 6 and my surgery is March 7. I live in Lexington NC so my drive is a good 5-6 hours. My hotel stay will be about 4 days $300. But I feel it is worth it to get it done and get it done right. She is also a naturopath which also impressed me. I know the driving and all that seems like a pain in the butt but it's worth it to get better. I'm just ready to get it all over with. I'm sitting here at work now with the worst pain. My entire body hurts and is stiff and I still have to give a client a massage when I leave. Days like this I just don't feel like I can make it. All I can do is pray that better days await for me. Don't put it off girl do what you got to do. And feel free to write to me anytime. I got almost two weeks til surgery. I'm getting really nervous and scared. You have support here anytime you need it. > > My first post and looking for any suggestions or guidance. > > I am a 32 year old who had her frist child one year ago. 11 Years ago > I had corrective impant surgery. Guest guest
a, I wish I could remember the name but perhaps the other girls can remember. I can tell you that you hold this thing up to your chin that holds a chart at the end I'd say a foot away from your face. You hold this contraption with one hand and cover one eye at a time. On this chart is 8 lines. 1-8 across the top and A-H down the sides (I think) could be vice versa. Anyway, on these lines are circles and within the circles are lines that point either left, right, or straight up and down. You have to tell the assistant which direction the lines are pointing. i tell you I could barely even see the lines on most of the circles much less tell what direction they were pointing. I felt silly. So from what I understand a person without mold sees the lines differently. I wanted to ask more about the test but everyone there seemed in a hurry and most the questions I had left me anyway. So you are having yours removed tuesday? Hmmmmm...seems like every dr doing an explant should do this test. Unless of course your dr will be able to see if there is mold when he/she takes them out. But I think this is pretty serious. I am almost finished with the medication and I tell you I don't feel different at all. But I might not until these things come out and I get to REALLY cleanse my body completely. i'm just sick of feeling like crap all the time. I wishes you the bestest luck on tuesday and I will gladly be praying for you. Guest guest
~ God Bless YOU ! ! I am so happy you have Dr Kolb to take care of you. You are certainly very blessed ! Y E S ! ! This did impact my weight. First for years I lost about 20 lbs, then this last couple years, I put on 65 lbs, and all of it is in my swollen boobs and in my gut that looks term with twins. Dr K will be removing my implants as soon as my heart can withstand surgery. Having your implants removed properly by Dr K and thru proper detoxing and nutrician, you will be able to regain your health, I think like you, there are many women walking around with implants, thinking they are perfectly healthy, but are actually having symptoms not realizing they are the implants, and they think it is their age, or stress, when actually their immune system and endocrin system are taking hits from all the chemicals that are inside them from the implants. When is your explant ? I am very happy for you ! Hugs N Prayers ~ DedeDelicious ideas to please the pickiest eaters. Watch the video on AOL Living. Guest guest
Thanks Dede, Have you met with Dr. Kolb? Can you tell me your experience with her and how you chose her to do your surgery once you are well. I am not scheduled for surgery yet but think within a few weeks I will be ready to have a consult in person with a surgeon. > > ~ > God Bless YOU ! ! Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group! I realize this post was meant for Dede, but having been explanted by Dr. Kolb myself, I thought I'd share my experience. First off, Dr. Kolb is an excellent surgeon and extremely knowledgeable regarding implant illness and detox. Having suffered implant illness herself and overcome it, she is so encouraging and inspirational. I have absolutely no regrets going to her and am thankful for the ways she continues follow-up with email and phone calls. In fact, if you haven't done so, Dr. Kolb is wonderful at returning calls whether you are a patient or not. When I was at your stage, I called her and she called back at 11 p.m. at night and talked with me until midnight (1 a.m. her time)! Like you, I had the MSH and VCS tests. I failed both and am working on regaining my health. I was explanted 10 months ago and although my symptoms are slowly improving, I realize it takes time. That's probably the hardest issue in all this...just feeling ready to be well but waiting for your body to catch up. Healing definitely happens, just not as fast as we'd like due to all the toxins. I saw in a post you mentioned that numbness is one of your symptoms. That was one of my first signs that something was wrong. It has lessened quite a bit since explant and I'm confident in time it'll disappear comepletely. My energy level has also improved although it's still unpredictable at times but I'm working on it. My advice would be to eat a very clean diet...no sugar, refined or processed foods. Drink lots of water as well. From there on, you'll be able to determine your individualized protocol based on testing, advice from Dr. Kolb and from others in the group. Most of the women seem to have more success using a naturopathic doctor versus a mainstream medical doctor, as alternative medicine seems to recgonize and have more experience with toxicity issues. One recommendation as far as where to stay if you choose Dr. Kolb...do NOT stay at the Marriott Residence Inn. My husband and I thought it'd be better to have an apartment-like setting for recovery. We were put in two different rooms and both were extremely dirty and moldy...not a place you want to be with bandaged wounds!!! Good luck with all of this. I know it can be overwhelming but we're all here for you. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Love, PH > > > > ~ > > God Bless YOU ! !
