Guest guest
Hello and welcome to our group. We are here for you, dear one. This group was started because I got sick from my saline implants in a very short time too--8 months--and my health crashed into a big frightening heap of symptoms that no doctor could find a reason for. I knew that once I connected with other women like myself, the implants were to blame even though the doctors said they weren't. So many women are led astray by these doctors, so I had hoped that this group would be a way for women to find their life again, taking it back through being empowered with knowledge! We can help you--there are many of us who have been down this road, so be encouraged! We found the way back! First things first...you are going to have to get the implants removed. And you are going to have to get them removed correctly. This means that not only will the implants come out, but also the scar tissue that surrounds the implants that has been formed by your body.(It's called a total capsulectomy, or an en bloc removal.) We have a list of recommended plastic surgeons, and most women have to travel to these doctors. The risk you take if you don't get the implants out correctly is that you don't heal and you continue to struggle with symptoms of illness. We would love to find more doctors around the country who understand the need for a total capsulectomy/en bloc removal, but the truth is that we fight an uphill battle. It's primarily because doctors don't acknowledge that implants cause illness. So, they just pop them out and send you on your way, because it is much easier to do it that way than the correct way. A proper explant takes time and skill, so that adds expense and burden to the doctors schedule. They don't like to do it. But it's the only way to do it if you want your health back. I'm sorry you have suffered so much at such a young age. My, my. I know you never saw it coming...none of us did. We were told that implants were safe, but they are anything but safe to many women. Some women have lost everything they owned and held dear because of implants. I hope you have the support of a loving family. Our best surgeons are Dr. Kolb in Atlanta, GA Dr. Lu Feng in Cleveland, OH and Dr. Huang in Denver, CO. This is where you should start if you can. Otherwise, you are going to have to do some searching to find a good local surgeon who understands just how important it is to get a total capsulectomy. I got completely better after about 4 years. It does take time, but you will gradually see improvements once you begin detoxing and taking charge of your health. Drugs are not the answer. Natural, healthy living is. We can support you and lend a shoulder to lean on during this time, and we can help direct your efforts to getting better. We've had lots and lots of successes with women getting their life back. You can read about them in our files section. But for now, your homework is to find a good explanting surgeon and make an appointment to get those toxic bombs out. Guest guest
Sorry to hear about your health issues. I had breast cancer and had reconstruction and saline implants. Five months ago the implants, I was having all sorts of issues, mostley brain fog and tired all the time .The feeling that something was in my body that didn't belong there. I just had them removed 2 wks ago, after 5 months, and hard to beilieve I am feeling 100% better already! I did much research, but not until after they were in. I feel like me again. It only makes sense that our bodies try to reject something that doesn't belong. I hope you feel better,I don't think it is worth it. I a free tramp flap ,they take your belly tissue and put it where the breasts were it turned out great, but I wanted to be bigger so the implants were put in. After that everything went down hill.cdeese1987 <cdeese1987@...> wrote: i recieved my implants six months ago they are 450cc's and saline with silicone case. then all of the sudden six months later i started having siezures in class. i then had a sinus infection which i have never had before. i have no history of seizures in my family and my health is declining fast. i now cannot attend college i have had my license revoked i cannot drive and im only 20!!!!!!! i am constantly dizzy and i cannot go in public places because i suffer from anxiety now. Guest guest
Hi, I'm so sorry you're having these problems. I got sick from saline implants and had them removed after six months. I didn't have seizures, but Gretchen did, and actually your symptoms sound very similar to hers. I also was dizzy and had anxiety attacks when I never had them before. Don't believe your doctors when they say " noooooooo, it can't be the implants " , we've all been in your shoes and we know it CAN be the implants. We will help you through this - we understand what you're going through. You might also want to visit Gretchen's site, she tells her story there and she is proof that you can get better. http://www.myimplantstory.com/ --- In , " cdeese1987 " <cdeese1987@...> wrote: > > i recieved my implants six months ago they are 450cc's and saline with > silicone case. then all of the sudden six months later i started > having siezures in class. i then had a sinus infection which i have > never had before. i have no history of seizures in my family and my > health is declining fast. i now cannot attend college i have had my > license revoked i cannot drive and im only 20!!!!!!! i am constantly > dizzy and i cannot go in public places because i suffer from anxiety > now.
