Guest guest
Thanks for the support, I guess I am getting discouraged because its been 3 years, Pray for me In a message dated 1/24/2008 2:46:10 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, angmattoni@... writes: Hello, My symptoms were flu like. First symptom was not being able to remember things and not being able to concentrate while reading. It was a major blow since I was in college. I worked full time and went to school in the evening. I had to quit. I just felt like I had the flu without the vomiting. So many symptoms I can't even list them all. Let's see, weight gain, stabbing pains in breasts. Eventually it became so bad I was living in my bed. I became sensitive to light. Migraines. I then was so tired of going to doctors and being told nothing is wrong and put on antidepressants. I started researching it myself and became aware of what was going on. I had the explant in 2002 and noticed an immediate improvement. I did feel myself fall back into worse health but then noticed it get better over the months. I think you feel better mentally having them out so you feel elated which allows you to have the temporary feeling of good health. But in actuality your body is working hard to repair itself that you begin to feel crappy again. Over a few months you begin to feel better again and for some people, like me, I felt almost 100%. what made me recover was getting enough rest, eating foods that were not processed. Not much sugars or caffeine. Lots of veggies and soup (broths) nothing heavy. It is easier for your body to process those things as well as gain nutrients. I also think Garlic is an important part of it too. It works like a natural antibiotic. I myself did not have much success with natural supplements because it was just more things my body has to work extra hard at breaking down. Massage is definitely a big thing that helped. If you are very stressed, find a way to calm yourself because that just wears your body. I am very high strung. I eventually started feeling really bad again but that is because I became pregnant. It was only in my early stage of pregnancy and right after. I was diagnosed with Lupus. I went to a Rheum. and he started treating immediatley after with steroids and chemo drugs. Which was the worst decision I made but I learned the hard way. The Prednisone made me blow up and the Darvocet was just a temporary band-aid. I was finally just so fed up because the Rheum told me that is all he could do for me and nothing would change. I couldn;t stand to look at myself anymore. I am not going to give up. I stopped taking everything and just beared the hellish storm. I was told to exercise and I looked at the doc like he was crazy. Well, little by little, I did it (with the help of my little baby). Plus I started getting more rest since he was sleeping through the night. I wasn't going to feel sorry for myself anymore, I was going to fight back because I had this little beautiful baby boy depending on me. I learned from the docs why my Lupus flares up so now I know what not to do and how to control it. I am now very careful about getting enough sleep, avoiding processed food and eating veggies and my holy raw GARLIC. I drink water spiked with a little juice since plain water can be so hard to drink at times. Making a long story short: NON PROCESSES FOOD SLEEP/REST GRADUAL EXERCISE, yoga is good because it stimulates your whole body RAW GARLIC Question for Angelika Hi Angelika,First off, congrats on your twins! There are a few women on the forum hoping to start families after all this detox and it's great to hear your story. Guest guest
I had implants for 6 months I wanted them out at 3 months but my doctor told me it was in my head. Then I got worse. I almost didn't make it. My husband kept running to the hospital and my potassium was gone. In a message dated 1/24/2008 5:24:32 P.M. Guest guest
Hi, I didn't read the results but I should call to get them. He just told me it was negative. I haven't had any rashes. Did you have a rash on your face or was your whole face red? I do have fatigue but as far as my joints they're not achy. I'm not sure what is causing the hair loss. Did yours finally stop and grow back? > > > > Hello, > > > > My symptoms were flu like. First symptom was not being able to > remember > > things and not being able to concentrate while reading. Guest guest
I had mine for six months, too. I got sick right away and wanted them out for months, but had an ongoing struggle with my husband about removing them (financial reasons). Eventually I said " suicide or surgery? " and so I had the surgery. Sis > > I had implants for 6 months I wanted them out at 3 months but my doctor told > me it was in my head. Then I got worse. I almost didn't make it. Guest guest
, I think taking a break from supplements from time to time is a good idea . . . The starting back slowly so you can see what, if any effect they are having. However, sometimes the results of nutrients are gradual so it's hard to see a distinct difference over the short run. High quality supplements are generally made from food sources so your body can utilize them better. What you need to watch for is the "inactive" ingredients, like silicone dioxide which is used as a cheap filler. It's hard to get all the nutrients one needs from just food sources because the soil has been so overworked. Organic products should have more nutrients . . . but how is one to know? Guest guest
Rogene, Everytime, with no fail, I take a supplement/vitamin it ends up wearing my immune system and I get very sick in the end. I buy them all from Heritage Health Food Store which is local and they are a very hippy and organic.place. Solgar is one of the brands I have used. I worked for a vitamin company years back and Solgar was very reputable. It seems no matter what I try it always wears my immune system. I have been able to use the sublingual b vitamin complex but only one company makes the one I like which I can't remember the name now. Guest guest
That's ok, I think I'm coming down with a cold. I know that my thyroid is on the low side so my dr said that's what's causing my symptoms. It is very scary losing your hair, especially for women. Guest guest
Angelika, That's really strange, because your body should be happy to get a boost! . . . I wonder if you have too much of one of the vitamins already in your system. . . You can overdose on the fat soluable vitamins . . A, D, E and K . . . Have you had your vitamin levels checked? Guest guest
I personally never had the injectable vitamins. Most of the ones I take are in pill form.
