I think there's a huge amount of denial going on on the pro-implant sites.

Women look for complications as something related to the breast . . . not systemic problems! . . . Certainly doctors aren't going to tell them their indigestion, chemical sensitivity, joint and muscle pain is implant related!

Some of them have implants for "professional" reasons . . . If they get rid of their implants, their career goes with them. Look at the size of some of those implants! It's obvious they either have a severe case of body dismorphia, or are working in the sex industry.

Women must sign a form that states that they cannot sue when they get

implants these days. This has been true since 1992, I think.

There is no studies on saline implants.. So how can we say they make us sick????

There was the silicone implant Class Action... The women got nothing the Attorney's gained all the money...

It is sad but true...

The only way is one voice at a time...

Maybe someday someone will give us some air time, without talking positive in the end...

We need a reality TV show for sick women with implants, let the world see our sickness, our rashes and how we live from day to day... Then the manufacturers would sue us, get by with it and run us back home, broke and sick...

It is endless battle with them... The FDA has there backs... Who do we have, minus a handful of doctors in the US..

Great Idea DeDe...

You know Gretchen could do it and by then we could gather all of our medical records, etc... for her...

It takes lots of money and lots of time... That is why no Attorney wants the cases...

I spoke with Attorney Chelsey he was a top notch attorney in the Silicone trials...

He would not touch Saline with a ten foot pole... They have the Silicone Class Action still going on and I think it last til somewhere around 2014 or something ridiculous... I was in Shock to hear that... As long as silicone is ties up still, it will be hard to do silicone class action, and impossible to start a new silicone class action for the newly approved silicone...

Does everyone understand that even when silicone was banned for sale... It was still ok for any women who entered into a study to get silicone... It was also ok to get silicone if you had Saline implants... What a JOKE>>>

I am sorry but I disagree since the past two years I have been doing research, as well as having a law suit filed against manufacturers... There is no paper any person signs there rights away from a defective product, medical malpractice, etc...

The informed consents say nothing about medical malpractice, defective products, etc...

It is a pretty good form we do sign however, it even states we could die upon getting implants, with surgery of course... Nowhere in any informed consent does it say we sign our rights away from getting auto immune, rashes, mold, bacteria, fungus, brain fog, etc..

There is a standard paper we sign, but we do not ever sign our rights away with any type of surgery... There is no such form... There is ways around all that mumbo jumbo, with laws created for our society...

One another note since the Silicone Breast Implant Class Action Law Suit, our Congress Passed a law.... Daubert Law

That is what has us by the hiney...

We can't prove our cases... Anything could have gave us Auto Immune symptoms, we were going to get this anyway, they claim...

Anxiety, oh lots have that issue...

Without proper studies on saline/silicone we will forever be banned from law suits... Yet another note we need proper studies, not paid for by the manufacturers... It is crazy how this works...

I never signed up for what I got from breast implants... There is no informed consent, since there is no true consent nor is there proper warnings from implants... It is a Law that was placed to protect our Manufacturers, our FDA and Congress seen it all to be fit...

This is in place for most medical devices... There is a fine line... They did this law so people could not sue, other wise the manufacturers would have been ran out of business long time ago...

Sorry if I rambled on, I just been going through this for over two years and figured this out the hard way, yet I would not back down without trying to do something...

There is an Attorney in California who is thinking of doing a class action against saline implants, he needs others to join him and help fund the cause, even if this happens the Attorney General claims if one person with saline wants to sign the class action, they will force medical monitoring... Then we might get a break... We need others to join the fight...

One the other hand we all need to write to our FDA and to Congress as Rogene stated in her post... This might not do much, but if we do it enough and more often, maybe they will listen, maybe not... Chances are NOT...

I know! I just received my record copies from my implanting P.S., and

I " only " had a 270cc filled to 300cc. Some of them were over 450cc!

And mine feel very heavy to me - I can't imagine what those must feel

like....

They deny the facts, since it makes them rich yearly and daily...

DeDe, yes I agree with your post... The bottom line is we all share the same symptoms with Silicone/Saline implants... Whether free flowing silicone or mold... Sick Building syndrome symptoms and Auto Immune, they match exactly to the point...

It should be criminal what they have done to us women... However our FDA and Congress backing them, have the manufacturers covered with the Laws that are in place... If no Laws in place, the manufacturers would be broke and bankrupt like they did when the Silicone class action law suit, forced dow corning to file bankrupt... Yet that was a scam, lie covered up bankrupt... It is endless...

Yes that is true that happened... So Sad... The Attorney's thought this is big money... Invested in these women's cases, under a pay Us when you win... Yet the money ran out and the women won petty cash... Attorney's went broke.. Yet signed an agreement... You are correct, if in the silicone class action cases, they are bound to not do any other type implant case... These Manufacturers hire only the top notch attorneys, in fact they are the number 4 richest firm in the World... So big Bucks...

The other reason these cases are not being sought out, is the Daubert Law... Which the question was asked, Why if stuff is published, how can we not prove this.. Well even the stuff published has been labeled... JUNK SCIENCE.. (google that word) This is what stops women and others in there tracks from suing over medical devices, period...

This is so true it makes me sick... Yet there were studies, paid for by the manufacturers and covered up and upholded by our FDA.. Yet on the other hand there is no test to prove our sickness.. No wonder the Study was GREAT... Well there is not one test to say oh you are sick.. NO pill to fix us.. This is all junk science they claim... Well we all know the truth... Manufacturers are out to make money, the FDA likes there share of the money too..

Well, it wont be April first, I have to find out from

Lynda or Rosie the original date, it was in May, I believe.

I think if we have all our stories up on all the sites, and if

we all do a short letter that is short and oozing with sweetness

that it will be more apt to be read. I think if we go at it in anger

that we will be tossed aside again as neurotic, and if they are

too long they will not be read either. Mine is pretty generic,

but to the point, doesnt point any fingers at all, and asks for

help and research. I think that if we all have our letters ready,

and the list of people to send it to, then near the date that

we have declared as our day, do the mass mail out to the FDA,

congress, and all the media then, we will be speaking very loud,

and all at once.

My media list needs to be updated, as I gave it to Gretchen to use

and she got many returns, but I have no clue who all she got returns

from. It is an old list now, so we just need to

update it. Right now, I just dont have time, as my job with Dad

is really big. Here is the list, if anyone has time to work on it........
